I did my Advanced Open Water Diver course with Paihia Dive and it was amazing! The highlight of my trip to the Bay of Islands. Five dives over two days with an AWESOME Dive Crew. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. The dive sites were spectacular. The two wreck dives were amazing, some of my favorite dives ever. Also, worth... More

We did the Introductory dive with Ben, Alice and Tony as instructors. They were very nice got us our gear for the day and we went out on a wonderful sunny day. We went through all the general and safety procedures and they explained how the day would work as on the same boat were other more advanced divers. The... More

Me and my boyfriend did our certified sea dives here via the referral process and were very impressed with the staff and standard of teaching. We were lucky to have a small group and our instructor Alice was very knowledgeable and professional. We booked last minute and were very well accommodated. It was more money than we initially expected but... More

We've done 4 wreck dives with Stu of Paihia dive, and got our PADI specialty certification - we didn't think we'd do any more dive during this trip, but the Pahia Dive team, and especially Stu, were so great that we booked 2 other dives. Highly recommended!

I wanted to do a couple of dives while visiting New Zealand from Scotland and earmarked the Bay of Islands as a top dive site. Initially I wasn't sure which dive operator to go with in the area and decided upon Paihia Dive purely based on their shop location but I'm really glad that I chose them and would definitely... I did both my open water and advanced OW PADI courses with Paihia dive in 2014 and it is still the best dive shop I have had the pleasure of diving with. The facilities are well equipped, the staff are friendly, professional and go above and beyond to ensure an awesome experience for everyone. The location couldn't be better with... More

We dived the Canterbury, the Rainbow Warrior wrecks, + 3 other dives as part of our Advanced Course. The crew were amazing - ESPECIALLY Ben and Rowan!! From start to end we felt safe and comfortable with our instructors. I was very impressed with the level of professionalism and helpfulness the staff displayed, particularly when making sure our dive equipment... More

I was on a week long road trip to the Far North and knew the Rainbow Warrior was a dive attraction, I contacted Paihia Dive in advance to discuss the dive and the owner operators (Craig and Tanya) were very really helpful - because the wreck lies past 18 meters and I was interested in the HMS Canterbury too they... We tagged along the scuba divers to free dive and we're very happy we chose Paihia Dive. Stu and Tanya, Anna and Roan were professional, cheerful, patient, and kept the whole show operating to give everyone what they were looking for. We were 4 experienced skin divers, but we're treated to the full instruction for the first time scuba divers.... More
