Have you ever met someone that truly LOVES what they do for a living? The owners of this outfit will go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful time. The staff was able to cater to divers of all different levels and we were able to all have enjoyable dives. I am still new to diving.... so... More

We dived the Canterbury, the Rainbow Warrior wrecks, + 3 other dives as part of our Advanced Course. The crew were amazing - ESPECIALLY Ben and Rowan!! From start to end we felt safe and comfortable with our instructors. I was very impressed with the level of professionalism and helpfulness the staff displayed, particularly when making sure our dive equipment... More

I was on a week long road trip to the Far North and knew the Rainbow Warrior was a dive attraction, I contacted Paihia Dive in advance to discuss the dive and the owner operators (Craig and Tanya) were very really helpful - because the wreck lies past 18 meters and I was interested in the HMS Canterbury too they... We tagged along the scuba divers to free dive and we're very happy we chose Paihia Dive. Stu and Tanya, Anna and Roan were professional, cheerful, patient, and kept the whole show operating to give everyone what they were looking for. We were 4 experienced skin divers, but we're treated to the full instruction for the first time scuba divers.... More

We found Paihia Dive via Trip Advisor. First point of contact was Craig the owner. He was very informative and definitely knew his stuff. We decided to dive the Rainbow Warrior. When we got to the shop we met the rest of the staff - they were awesome. We eventually were talked into doing our advanced open water certs (thanks... More

Booked 2 dives with Paihia Dive online a few weeks before I went to New Zealand. They were very helpful and quick at responding to a few questions I had about the diving. The dive shop is very well equipped and they have lovely warm wetsuits. Staff are great, very friendly and go that extra mile which makes the diving... More

Just finished my PADI Wreck Diver Specialty with these guys - which took three days and gave me 6 dives alltogether (4 for the specialty and another 2). Really good gear, the boat is comfortable and also in good shape. The whole crew is laid back and relaxed - you can easily see they just love diving and taking care... More

Had a great time diving the wreck of the HMSNZ Canterbury with this friendly and professional dive outfit. The wreck itself is really well preserved and is accessible for novice divers (although they ask you to complete it as a PADI deep water 'Adventure Dive', and there is an extra charge for that). Recommended!

Despite being suited up with 6mm drysuit, hoodie vest and booties, it was still too early in the morning to register just how cold the water was going to be. But before I could think about it anymore, we were jetting over to the dive site and in the water, diving deep below to explore the famous Rainbow Warrior wreck.... More
