A friend and I were talking about going diving during our time in NZ. Neither of us were certified so we were excited to come across Paihia Dive because they offer discovery dives. The discovery dive includes all the gear you need for diving so you just have to bring yourself! The dive was an all day event - there... More

A very good dive team located in the center of Paihia. The drive up to the Rainbow Warrior was a great way to seem more of the countryside. Highlight - a part for the diving - was having lunch on a island beach that is only accessible at low tide.

I did the refresh dive today. And afterwards we went a nice little riff. They are a Great crew which helped me to get back into the water after 18 years. They are doing a great job.

I had a nice time diving the Canterbury wreck. Beautiful fish and anemones. You can get a photo of yourself "talking" on the ship's phone. :-) The water is VERY cold, but they provide wet suits and warm drinks when you come aboard. "Red" was a wonderful dive master. The woman marine biologist is not very nice, but just ignore... More

The staff and the crew are all very professional and laid back. They are also very focused on making sure your well taken care of. The owner of this business is obviously doing something right. Our boat captain powered thru the swells with authority. My rental gear was also of top quality. Thanks for a nice day of diving.

I wasn't able to find a specialist free-diving company in the Bay of Islands, but after talking with Paihia Dive I went out with them on their snorkeling rate ($120). Despite not specifically catering to free-diving, and being very busy they went out of their way to fully kit me out with gear including long blades, a float and flexible... More

We did 2 dives with them. We had to do the Canterbury wreck instead of the rainbow Warrior because of the weather. Little bit disappointed at first but it was very cool that we could actually swim through the Canterbury! The 2nd dive was on a reef. We saw some rays and a cool spikey fish! The surface time was...
