We thoroughly enjoyed a recent visit to Church Road winery. We were allowed to sample a range of delicious wines including some interesting varietals. Our host was knowledgeable and allowed us to take our time. The tasting room was attractive and we did not feel pressured to buy. we shall definitely be coming here again next time we are in... We turned up mid afternoon after moving house and were treated to some friendly service, a knowledgeable wine tasting server and then shared a platter. The staff were able to correctly advise what to get that would be enough for all of us. And it tasted so good. Added to all this you can sit in the shade and enjoy... More

What a treasure she is - personable, knowledgeable and generous. We tasted at other wineries over the weekend and no one came anywhere near matching her. What a great asset you have in her, Church Road.

Awesome place to finish the Big Easy Bike Ride, lovely ground which make a fabulous atmosphere for a concert. Safe for all ages and great organizers. Thanks Church road.

We were here on Easter Saturday, and didn't realise they were expecting a heap of cyclists to arrive for the annual cycle ride from Havelock North. We had a tour, and then a tasting. And that was great. We had booked for lunch, and despite that, we had a very long wait for a table, and then a very long... More

Lovely winery with tastings and small platters. Only a short drive form Napier city centre and many tour visit here. A nice afternoon activity for those that enjoy a glass or two. Watch opening times as they differ with the seasons.

I get buses generate more money than two people but to be ignored was very rude. We were looking for a specific wine but were left alone to just stand there not good service
