Fine dining in a beautiful setting. The staff could not have been more attentive, even bringing out a rug and toys for the children to play on. While we enjoyed a beautiful lunch with their fine wines the children were able to run and play in the safety of their beautiful grounds. A perfect day.

A winery restaurant handy to Napier, situated in Napier. Very classy, but with a laid back casual ambience, and you eat looking over the barrel room giving a constant reminder that it is a winery. Food was excellent, service friendly and very good, decided would definitely visit again. The wine range is superb but they also serve beers, a good... More

Stunning. Beautiful venue on the north facing slopes of the north north facing slopes of the Taradale hills next door to the Mission Estate. Some of the best wines in the country. Knowledgeable staff at cellar door. Smart buying. Wonderful selection. Great business venue with wine museum and lovely lunch time restaurant. Highest recommendations .

The Church Road cellar is on the most beautiful buildings made of recycled materials. A wedding held here would just be stunning! The tour was good, I would have liked more detail on the wine making process but our guide certainly had personality and passion for the business. The story behind the winery was very interesting. The wine itself was... More

Best winery lunch this trip and we did 5 winery lunches. The lunch here was far nicer than Elephant Hill, Craggy Range & Black Barn & we have always thought those 3 were the ones to beat, but this was much better & you could have there top of the range wines by the glass.

My wife and I swung by the winery in the morning to book ourselves onto the afternoon tour. When we came back, the sun was beating down and the cellars were nice and cool. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and the tasting at the end was welcome! A few dollars more got us the Grand Reserve tasting, which... More

One of the Bay's oldest wineries with a wide range of wines including some unusual varieties. Great platter was enjoyed while taking a short break from the tasting!

We did a tour though the winery. The guide was very competent and knowledgeable. Interesting stories on history of the winery and Hawke's Bay. In the end we had an extensive wine tasting session and got even more story telling how the founder of the winery made the wine and how he generated the label.

Popped in here for some food and wine. The grounds are beautiful and inside is rustic and warm. The wine was delicious and the shared plate was decadent and tasty.
