This is a favoured place for an afternoon walk or as part of a run. Off the road, good surface, keep an eye out for birdlife; spoonbills, gannets, shags, oyster catchers, seagulls, herons, plus random geese

This little gem, is an easy stroll for anyone. The kids will love it as it is only about a 45 minute walk. Along the way you can view seabirds in their natural habitat. It is quite a tidal area so shellfish can be seen when the tide is out. Informative signs have been strategically placed to help you identify... More

Lovely to walk along the boardwalk for a 'cold one' and warm fire. More than one to choose from (we tried them all!) and all had their good points but my favourite feel was from 'The Thirsty Whale' on a very wet day. Great also to watch the fishing boats come and go.

If you have an hour to kill, then this walk is ideal. It follows around the shore of the estuary and information boards along the way provide interesting snippets of information. The grade is flat so it is an easy walk for all the family.

What a wonderful asset to the area. The walk way was wide and well constructed and made walking easy and interesting. It has transformed a tired area into somewhere special.

A lovely circuit through the estuarial wetland. The tracks and boardwalks are very well maintained and a credit to the organisations responsible for their upkeep.

Fantastic walk with so much to see. Even without all the birds and crabs to see it is still a great walking, cycling or running track.
