Lovely to walk along the boardwalk for a 'cold one' and warm fire. More than one to choose from (we tried them all!) and all had their good points but my favourite feel was from 'The Thirsty Whale' on a very wet day. Great also to watch the fishing boats come and go.

If you have an hour to kill, then this walk is ideal. It follows around the shore of the estuary and information boards along the way provide interesting snippets of information. The grade is flat so it is an easy walk for all the family.

if you are a birdwatcher, this is the walk for you. Plenty of rare and delightful feathered friends. Go at sunrise for an amazing experience

What a wonderful asset to the area. The walk way was wide and well constructed and made walking easy and interesting. It has transformed a tired area into somewhere special.

A lovely circuit through the estuarial wetland. The tracks and boardwalks are very well maintained and a credit to the organisations responsible for their upkeep.

Fantastic walk with so much to see. Even without all the birds and crabs to see it is still a great walking, cycling or running track.

This area is lovely for a walk even though it was quite windy. Had a beer at a bar and a lovely look around.

Nice big sidewalks, would love to ride a segway around to get full advantage. Very clean and tidy with nice seats along the way to soak in the view.

we live very close to this estuary, went here lots of times and are still enjoying it every time, over and over again. Sun or rain, walking or running, alone or together, in the morning and in the evening.

Really nice walk along the estuary. Especially nice when the tide is in, not as much when it is out as it can be a bit smelly but then you can also watch the crabs scuttling along the sand.
