There seemed to be plenty of parking but we parked in the town, had dinner in one of the many pubs in the central city and walked about 15 mins to the venue. We did notice there were a couple of large free shuttle buses available between the city and the venue. Good atmosphere, good experience sitting among the 18000... More

We love going to the Stadium as it is so easy to get in and out. Just one thing if you are going take cash for food and drink as they don't take EFTPOS. You can get cash out there but they charge you $3 That to me is the down side of the Stadium but Pak N Save and... More

Let me tell you! The atmosphere during a Chiefs game is phenomenal. Even if you're not a local, come along to see a match and you won't be disappointed.

It really is a good stadium. You feel like you are right there by the field, not like some other stadiums where you are miles away. Lots of food stops, toilets always get a queue at half time to be expected, but not much of one. The field itself of course is always immaculate. The corporate area is lovely and the... More

Went to see a Warriors game during the NRL season, and attended an associated Bulldogs function. I have also attended other functions at this venue, they were good events, and a good place to watch footy. The lift in the Brian Perry stand needs attention though, the doors sometimes slam on people!

I really enjoyed seeing a rugby league Warriors vs Bull Dogs at Waikato Stadium. This was my first visit to a rugby league match at this venue. I didn't realise the gates were open earlier than stated on the ticket. I would have come earlier. I found the league crowd were very knowledgeable for the sport and it definitely added... More

Great night out and enjoyable rugby. Easy access to boot. The food was extremely disappointing. All deep fried and far from appealing. I wish they had some healthy options but alas not. You're not able to take your own food and drink but to only have doughnuts steak sandwiches hotdogs and chips is poor. :((
