SkyJump; NZ's Highest Jump - 192m 630ft. Jump start your Kiwi Adventure by leaping from Auckland's SkyTower. It takes about 11 seconds to reach the ground falling at about 85 kph. The ground rush is unbeatable. Participants wear a full body harness and flying suit (all provided). Unlike Bungy, there is not dangling upside down or bounding around - you simply fall 'fast and smooth' and then slow down to land just in the last few metres. SkyWalk; Life on the Edge! Inch along a narrow walkway around the Sky Tower, high above Auckland. No handrail, nothing but thin air and the city 192 metres below, SkyWalk is an exhilarating challenge you'll never forget. Our guides point out attractions, tell you stories and challenge you to daredevil tricks. For a big New Zealand adventure, 360° panoramic views of Auckland and extraordinary memories, SkyWalk the ledge.

I was 57 when I did this. I always loved adventure tourism but my wife was scared of this. So I wis one of the safest I have ever experienced. It is not as scary as bunjeejumping. Many older people even in their 70s seemed to have done this jump. So why not try it. Life is too short to... More

You must do this if in Auckland. It is brilliant and worth any nervousness you may experience.  I had an amazing time. I was the only person going up on the first walk of the day but they still ran it so I had a 1:1 experience. My guide Sam was superb. I performed all the dare devil activities he... More

Hi Julie, thanks for your review but you are talking about visiting the SkyTower and taking the elevator up to the viewing level - our SkyWalk is the walk around the outside ring of the tower. More

The view was spectacular, hanging from outside of the top of the building (tallest in southern hemisphere, apparently), All very safe, but not for the 'frail'. Tame alternative is to look downwards through small glass window inside

Didn't quite give me the same feeling of adrenalin as a bungy. Staff were great, all friendly, positive and knew what they were doing. As you are guided down along a cable the jump does feel very controlled. It almost felt too safe. They drop you down a bit, pause and get you take a photo, then drop you the... More

Take the plunge literally!! this is a good way to take your first bungy jump as you are connected to a guide rope for support and accuracy while jumping so its not quite the same as a true bungy but you do get a chance to wave to the patrons dining on the way down!
