Owner description: SkyJump; NZ's Highest Jump - 192m 630ft. Jump start your Kiwi Adventure by leaping from Auckland's SkyTower. It takes about 11 seconds to reach the ground falling at about 85 kph. The ground rush is unbeatable. Participants wear a full body harness and flying suit (all provided). Unlike Bungy, there is not dangling upside down or bounding around - you simply fall 'fast and smooth' and then slow down to land just in the last few metres. SkyWalk; Life on the Edge! Inch along a narrow walkway around the Sky Tower, high above Auckland. No handrail, nothing but thin air and the city 192 metres below, SkyWalk is an exhilarating challenge you'll never forget. Our guides point out attractions, tell you stories and challenge you to daredevil tricks. For a big New Zealand adventure, 360° panoramic views of Auckland and extraordinary memories, SkyWalk the ledge.

This may seem an expensive activity but you can find vouchers which make it a bit cheaper....it's in the entertainment book. We were a party of 4 which dwindled to 2 due to nerves! My daughter and I had the guide to ourselves who was excellent, very informative, patient, relaxed and made the experience such a good one! Would recommend... More

Skyjump is absolutely amazing. Don't be scared, it is only one step for 192 m of flight. Must do attraction in Auckland, I will do another jump next time in Auckland.

I decided to do the Sky walk on impulse. There was only three people in the group as this was the last trip of the day. We had the safety briefing and then were kitted out. When we stepped out onto the skywalk, you only then realise how high you really are. Although you are tied on by two separate... More

I am afraid of heights and if I xan do this then so can you! The staff were lovely and managed to keep me calm. The jump isnt as difficult as you think it would be. There is no sudden drop as you can feel that you are attached to the cable the entire time. Your harness is checked multiple... More

A great fun thing to do and see a loved one do. My brother visited from the UK and this was on his to do list and he enjoyed it. Doing the sky walk first then the jump. He was beaming for days. A definate highlight of his trip.

I did the SkyJump. Even for someone who has done some extreme things, this was quite thrilling. Not for the faint of heart... but amazing for anyone looking for thrills.

It's hard to describe this attraction, it is a cross between "free falling" and a vertical zip-line. Whatever it is, it is a rush! When you are leaning out and looking down 630 ft from the top, whether there is a winch or not, it feels like you are free-falling. The wind is screaming and distorting your face or maybe... More

Sky jump is set in the centre of Auckland, New Zealand. It's a 192 metre plunge to the ground. It's not a "free fall" and your decent is governed by a massive winch at the time of the tower jump platform. The decent is around 80km/h, however it feels a lot faster. The experience was overall, great. The view was... More

We absolutely loved the Sky-jump! Even if you are wanting to bungee but don't have the confidence this is a great happy medium. You feel safe before you jump because of the weight of the harness. I have MS so I am not very able bodied. The team were really encouraging, making me feel safe and guiding me the whole... More

My friend and I had decided 18 months ago, prior to our travel to Auckland that we were going to do the skyjumps and skywalk, I am 56 and my mate is 52, we couldn't talk the girls into it, and they still reckon we are crazy, but it was absolutely the best and I am so glad we did... More
