I love how our town hall sits just watching over all who enter. Beautiful old building with wonderful concerts...wish they had more on more often. PArking easy, close by in the Civic Car Park. A little bit of history to think back on

It is a lovely building, but there is not much to do once there.

The Town Hall is perfectly nice, but there are many more heritage buildings round, and usually heaps more where most tourists are from!! Because of greedy developers, Auckland has lost something like 60% of the built heritage it had in the early 80s.

This building is just beautiful inside - well worth going into to have a bit of a wander around. It may not be open though. Check to see if you can just wander around.

The Auckland Town Hall is a very nice building in the busy centre of Auckland. The Hall comes to a curved point at the northern end, with a large tower looming over Queen Street. The Hall contains some lovely displays are exhibitions, along with beautiful hallways and a beautiful concert chamber. A lovely piece of architecture with some interesting events... More
