Almost guaranteed to enjoy an evening on Vulcan Lane, it is definitely the place to go to enjoy some Craft Beers.

Have lunch at the Belgian restaurant, sit outside and enjoy the people watching. The mussels and fries combo is delicious. Order a Belgian beer, obviously.

Really great part of the Aucland CBD just off the main road of Queens Street. There some great shops, bars and cafe's and a cool spot to relax with a berer and watch all the different typres of people passing by.

Decent place for a drink and food, particularly breakfast. A little cramped with limited outdoor seating but a great pub and cafe amongst others.

At the end of the day its just an area of central auckland. But it does have an interesting history. Lots of little shops to explore and a good selection of pubs and eateries. Can get quite lively in the evening and this is part of the charm. Worth a look...

We loved sitting outside the pubs, soaking up the atmosphere and really loved the Sushi bar! Exsquisite.

it is just a mall, with an interesting past, but now it's just shops and eateries and they're a dime a dozen. Were it the only one of it's kind it'd be different, but at least it's reliable and handy to the city centre for what it is.

In its heyday Vulcan Lane was a little edgy now its just like a mall with nice shops. The historic frontages have been preserved but the sense of history has gone.

Vulcan Lane - all Aucklanders know it. Why? Well, it's central and over the years it's been a kind of hub - I suppose it still is. There are some nice shops around but you will only need an hour to see it all.

Dropping in here for a beer or meal is very easy. Our visit was to O'Carrolls which gives great meals (excellent chunky chips) and huge tasty burgers. The beer list is impressive but watch the prices - esp the US beers which can give a sting. Great atmosphere and crack!
