Park in the carpark and trek up one side and down the other, walk amongst the sheep and cows. Take a picnic or visit the cafe, or the ice cream parlour in Cornwall Park. Great cafes over on Manukau Rd too. Incredible views from the top of One Tree Hill and great exercise getting there (easy, sealed road to walk... More

I have been on one tree hill on multiple occasions and its one of the best walks i have ever had. Lush green scenery with fresh air and bunch of animals along the way. I would suggest early morning or late evening are the best time to go up there. Its a pretty huge area and quiet a long walk.... More

Nice gentle walk through paddocks - past the cows, aroud the archery course. Beautiful 360 degree views from the top. Good children's playground and picnic area at the bottom.

If you can fit it into your busy schedule head up to one tree hill. It's worth a look!! Consider the weather before you go though, if it's raining and miserable try another day.

One Tree Hill is one of the many mountain spots you can go to for beautiful views of the city. If the weather is nice and not rainy, it makes a great mountain walk. You can also drive up to the summit where there is free parking. A highlight of the mountain is seeing all the sheep that surround it.

this is well worth a visit when in Auckland as it has great views over the city and interesting history to read about as well. You can walk or drive.

I had a lovely walk up the hill with my friends. Very nice view of the city from the hill top. You can drive all the way up there too if you like. So there are options to walk or drive.

The four of us visited this great site. I can get windy here so bring a jumper. parking could be a problem,(limited). The views are postcard quality 360 degrees. We were fortunate we had a beautiful day and could see everywhere

Be sure to visit this place for its views of the whole of Auckland. Be sure to wear something warm. A tour isn't necessary
