To meditate and to take in all in ... After a busy day! And be reminded how blessed one is to be living in this city. You can get a pretty good view at the top of the hill.

This is a place I always bring visitors as it offers a great view of Auckland. It's an interesting area and also a nice walk.

You can not blame the attraction that it's windy but I prefer to stay in the car and admire the views.

We were there on a clear winter day, and although the breeze on top was 'refreshing' the views were absolutely worth the climb (and you can go all the way uphill by car if you like, but the climb up is quite nice as well).

worth a drive or if your are energetic a walk up to see this. despite the fact that there is no longer a tree it is a great vantage point over Auckland especially on a clear day

Its free, a beautiful drive with sheep along the way. If your lucky, you will see an afternoon rainbow

Marvellous pieces of Kiwi history captured in a beautiful part of the city. With an interesting capsulation of how this monument got its name.

Great for family and kids. You can also visit the observatory while you're there. You can also explore some 'rural' side of Auckland while you're there, as there are sheep everywhere :)
