No Tree but the drive up is amazing

Its free, a beautiful drive with sheep along the way. If your lucky, you will see an afternoon rainbow

Marvellous pieces of Kiwi history captured in a beautiful part of the city. With an interesting capsulation of how this monument got its name.

Great for family and kids. You can also visit the observatory while you're there. You can also explore some 'rural' side of Auckland while you're there, as there are sheep everywhere :)

really liked this place, easy walk to the top, with little paths branching off, great views...more for those who don't mind hiking (you can drive up to the top but will miss out on all the grassiness) and appreciate nature! I say this cos my brother said 'I can see these pictures online'.....

Average. Not much to do or see, we went on a grey day so perhaps that has put me off from writing a good review.

This is my favourite park in Auckland, even if I just want a lift of spirit I use it as a thoroughfare to just see the park and the animals. The spring flowers are just starting to sneak out in twin oaks drive. To me this is home!

Great spot with a bit of history and a fantastic view. The sheep in the surrounding park are the icing on the cake.

Magnificent views across Auckland from one of the many volcanic cones which dominate much of the city and suburbs. On a clear day one can see from ocean to ocean, clear across the Auckland isthmus.

When we got to the top there was no parking and a bit of a wait to go through parking area. So we had... More
