Great view. Gets very breezy. A small car parking area. A wee bit unsafe for kids since there are no fencing of slopes.

Yes, there was one tree on one tree hill once. But now it has gone, cut down, lost and gone forever, unless they plant another one.

Had some time to kill and really didn't want to spend any money. Awesome 360 views of Auckland even in terrible weather. Would definitely recommend to all.

A lower view of Auckland...but still great 360 degrees of great viewing. Yes there is a huge memorial & yes its linked to Maori history too..but also to a man called Sir John Logan Campbell, who gifted Cornwall Park to the people of NZ in 1901. I would recommend you look at his life, very interesting if you like history.... More

Wonderful place. Walk through Cornwell Park too. Take the little dirt tracks for a more athletic but more interesting climb to the top. The sheep will be surprised to see you! Highly recommend this volcanic cone.

This is a beautiful park with lovely well maintained grounds. It has historical Maori sites and a memorial at the top with 360 degree views of the city. There is a tea room that serves lovely high tea style food. It is farmed so in spring there are baby lambs and calves and daffodils pop up down Twin Oak Drive.... More

I LOVE this place!!! Its pretty much right in the city yet when you are there it doesn't feel like it. I love the change in seasons here too, spring is my favourite as it has lambs and daffodils and makes you feel at ease. It gives you a good place to exercise, soak up the rays with family and... This volcanic peak is an important memorial place for Māori and other New Zealanders. The summit is accessible with Outer Link bus service you need to go out on the stop 8711 - 371 Manukau Road. Then you will have to go about 500m by foot to get to the beginning of the Cornwall Park / One Tree Hill. Its... More
