I grew up in otara and every time i go back I can't wait to hit up the markets. Nothing like it use to be but I would deffinalty reccomended it especially for cultural values.

The fruit and vegetable stores have wares that you do not always find at supermarkets, so if you are Indian or an Islander, it probably makes sense to buy there. Prices are by and large not a big drawing card. You can get approximately the same in any Asian food shop, or even at Pak n Save.

Well Otara Market is the the place and I'm surprised not more tourists visit.
