The combination of boats, water and good weather made this a lovely area to roam around. Plenty of eating places to choose from if you need a rest and somewhere a bit quieter than the shopping area.

Yachts big and small, fish market and great dining ... seating areas to relax and people watch, lobster tanks, and tub boats. The Viaduct has it all.

Found this to be a very relaxed area. There are plenty of cafes/restaurants and a very nice area to stroll about whether that would be during the day or at night. Very relaxed atmosphere.

We went for a stroll at Easter and had a lovely time. We were fortunate a massive super yacht was there, was a definite talking point!! Plenty of cafés to visit. Lots to see, worth a look!

The Viaduct Harbour Basin has been virtually rebuilt during the last few years to cater for the Americas Cup (sailing), the World Cup (rugby) and other sporting events. The place around the harbour is filled with cafe, restaurants and shopping places. Good place to pass time when you are in auckland.

This is heaven for the foodie lover! So many wonderful restaurants to choose from and all of them are so different from the others. It's also a great place to stroll after dinner for a great view of the city skyline!

Its a development that feels like it could be anywhere, but maybe we just went on an evening without much of a buzz.
