Enjoyed Parnell. It is a quaint little spot with many great bistros and coffee shops. Also there are a number of souvenir shops that offer different fare. The Lion Brewery is in the area but when I was there in September a local told me the Brewery had sold the land and was moving so I am not sure it... more

This is an older, restored little village. There are many specialty shops & some restaurants. This is fairly close to downtown Auckland and is pretty much walking distance. The Lion brewery is here also. If you're looking for a place to shop for gifts & items that are different from the average shop - this is the place to go. more
