We went there for lunch the two days we stayed in Parnell. Our waiter, Shiva remembered us the second day, and was very warm and welcoming. Parnell is a quaint little village atmosphere with lovely shops to visit with all types of knick knacks. Fashion is also available for the more discerning and if you feel peckish there are any amount of food places to eat/drink. This is a lovely place for the overseas travellor to spend some time.

We were on the hop on hop off bus and it stopped outside the Parnell Rose Garden. Wow the roses were amazing.

Nothing much here, just a couple of typical cafes and shops. We were surprised that the 'village' area consisted of such a small collection of shops. Wouldn't really bother with it if you're pressed for time.

A few years ago, this trendy suburb was full of fantastic little gift shops and trendy cafes, well worth a visit. However this visit was disappointing with only one of the shops, Elephant Walk, down a little laneway, remaining.

There is quite a few cafés, pub, restaurants, ice cream shop, clothing shops etc. You would be spoilt for choice if unsure what you feel like, I think there is something for everyone.. My favourite place is a Japanese Restaurant called Renkon and has been now for many years :)

Enjoyed our time in Parnell, checked out some of the many eating place on Parnell Road and the cool shops. Only 10 mins from City Centre. Lovely place to stay and spend some time.
