For a kind of small museum this place covers all the bases, especially if your a first timer in Auckland. We spend 4 hours here, and still did not finish all the exhibitions. Certainly a must-see in Auckland. The cafe has very nice pasta. My family members loved it very much. Excellent and very interesting museum. We loved the Maori section and the War Memorial section. Unfortunately that day the Museum was full of little and not so little kids from different schools. Lots of noise and running around and above all they were not at all interested in what they were seeing. Teachers, why then going???? more
