This harbour cruise costs $40.00 and includes either a morning or afternoon tea. It is a really good way of getting up close to the attractions of the Waitemata Harbour. The tour goes out as far as Rangitoto Island with a short 15 minute stopover before returning down the harbour, under the Habour Bridge.

We were only in Auckland for 2 days so needed some quick ideas for how to see Auckland. This Harbour cruise was reasonably priced and the captain was happy chatting to us all the way around for an hour and a half telling us all about the port and islands. we made a very quick stop at one of the... Nice ride around Bay of Islands. Once bad thing was we couldn't visit the Hole in the Rock because of the weather. Please check with them about the weather before you plan to go there.

It was part of our tour so I have no idea what the cost is. It was a pleasant way to spend some time ... water, sun and sightseeing the shoreline.

I was surprised at the price of this cruise at only $40 per person as the next cheapest one we had seen was $79 pp, but you get great value for money and a guided commentary of all the local landmarks and we even saw someone doing a bungy jump from under the Harbour Bridge on the way back. You... More

This was quite a pleasant trip on a clear sunny day. The ferry followed the coastline on the opposite side to Auckland city, getting up close to a group of sailing ships out on the harbour and near the naval base to see a few navy ships in dock, getting under the bridge just in time to see someone bungy... We originally wanted to do the lunch cruise but apparently they stop running on April 30 (why wouldn't you keep going until the weather turns bad). We settled for this cruise so we could check out the harbour sights. The cruise itself was pretty good but nothing spectacular. They show you all the main things to see and give good... More

When you buy the harbor cruise you get a free ticket for the trip to Devenport. Great value and good overview of the area. If you sit on the top deck, bring a jacket -- it gets cold!

We did this yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very comfortable, good narration, and included a complimentary snack (juice and muffin). Bought ticket at a tour booth at pier 1 (and also bought a 3 1/2 hour mini bus tour); and got a 16 NZD discount on the pair of tours. The boat also sold snacks and had restrooms.

Since we only had one full day in Auckland, we were so glad we took this harbor cruise. After the cruise we took advantage of the round trip ferry ride to Devonport island, which was included, and spent the remainder of our Sunday afternoon exploring the beautiful town with views of Auckland and the harbor.
