Great trip.

If you only have a short amount of time this is a good trip. We managed to see several pods of killer whales which was a bonus. There is a short stop over at one of the volcanic... read more

This is a scenic cruise of 1 1/2 hours duration It generally runs twice each day The captain of our boat was female, a very good driver and an excellent commentator [take note Mr Fuller] I understand she is the only female boat captain It goes to Devonport island [on the way passing a long series of posts in the... If you want to just chill, bask in the sea breeze, and take in the views of the islands, the city, and the harbour, this would be a perfect trip for you. It's quite a quick trip. We made a short stop at rangitoto island because some passengers got off there. The nzd 42 includes a hot beverage and muffin... More

This is a nice way to spend a couple of hours. The cruise takes you on a circuit of the harbour with a well informed narration from the captain. It was very comfortable and provided a good view of the city and it's surrounds. It helps to orient visitors to the various areas of Auckland. A nice afternoon tea was... More

We found the harbour cruise a great choice, especially as I'd hurt my foot and needed a rest from walking. Being out in the fresh air, gliding past both natural and man-made scenery, was a very enjoyable way to spend 90 minutes. As others have mentioned, we couldn't hear the commentary clearly when sitting outside - perhaps a written leaflet,... More

It was pouring down today and we still had alot of fun. There was only 3 of us on the boat, so more staff than tourists! They still made it fun and gave commentary the whole way. The aussie jokes start once the captain figured out we were from accross the ditch. A nice informative tour which doesnt take long.... More

Even though the day was overcast and cold, with constant showers of rain, the harbour cruise was a pleasant experience and a good way to be outdoors without getting wet. The vessel was spacious (helped by the relatively few passengers) with good seating inside and both covered and uncovered seating outside. The commentary was reasonable - good content but not... We took the cruise, as we love being on the water, which provides you with some beautiful views of Auckland's Waitemata Harbour. Fullers provides a comfortable ride, regardless of where you decide to sit, there are benches outside and inside. We also got a choice of hot drink and a muffin, which were reasonable. As for the commentary, I could... More

This harbour cruise costs $40.00 and includes either a morning or afternoon tea. It is a really good way of getting up close to the attractions of the Waitemata Harbour. The tour goes out as far as Rangitoto Island with a short 15 minute stopover before returning down the harbour, under the Habour Bridge.

We were only in Auckland for 2 days so needed some quick ideas for how to see Auckland. This Harbour cruise was reasonably priced and the captain was happy chatting to us all the way around for an hour and a half telling us all about the port and islands. we made a very quick stop at one of the...
