Great trip across to Waiheke, caught the bus to a few vineyards, stopped in Oneroa and had Oysters that were yum, kids has fish and chips, went for a swim, caught a cab to Stonyridge for a taste, then back to ferry and home. Fantastic Day!!!

Our tour started at the wharf office with great help from the older man serving. We did the ferry ride both ways with a bus trip around the island and free bus travel on our own on the island after the tour. The bus driver being a local was very knowledgable and the tour was worth it to get the... More

Ferry and bus is free for pensioners and an enjoyable day out. If you use your gold card you can get the bus/train to the ferry buildings as well. (saves car park fees) Will do it again!!!

Good price. Included ferry return ferry trip and a one and a half hour tour of the island in an "old rattler but lots of fun. Plenty of time for pictures, toilets stop and coffee.

I have always wanted to see Waiheke Island but have run out of time every other time I have visited Auckland and so this time I was determined to go. I am so glad we did. The island is beautiful. We enjoyed immensely our trip on the harbour to the island and then were met by Horst, our driver who... More

The ferry is the standard ferry to the island; once there you join the coach tour, which loops round the island and stops a few times for views, and with a lengthy stop at a cafe by the beach. Passengers can be dropped off if wished, otherwise the coach returns to the harbour and then you can use the go-anywhere... More

This was a great way to see Waiheke and learn the history of the area but be warned, this place is not a wheelchair friendly, very hilly!

After purchasing our ticket at the wharf. We took a 40 minute ferry ride to the island. Time passed quickly on the boat looking at all the beautiful sites. We were greated by our driver for the tour as we left the boat directing us to the correct bus. We then embarked on our hour and a half journey. The... More

This proved to be excellent value, with an hour and a half tour, plus ferry trip, plus access to the bus service for the rest of the day. The only down side was the tour guide, who whilst humorous at times, spent most of the time telling and passengers speaking to shush, it felt a little awkward.

After a 40 min Ferry ride across the beautiful Bay, you are met by a friendly Local tour guide, who then gives a very intensive commentary on the Islands History, during the aprox 11/2 hr bus journey.
