Nice atmosphere, great market

Good little market in Oratia, can get a bit quiet in Winter but in later summer it will be in full swing. Always lots of goodies to fill a couple of bags.

Quality food cheaper than supermarket. Live music. Good cafe. Amazing 'junk' shop. Nice gift shop. Thought the wine tasting expensive and the wine poor but everything else worth a regular visit

I really liked this market as it had all the main stalls you'd want, but just one of each so you don't get overwhelmed with too many non-differentiated choices. This also makes it easy to view everything without it taking too long. And the food we bought was quite good. My main hope is that they'd open earlier than 9am.... More

Great Farmers Market. Real fresh produce. Oratia being the original fruit growing region of Auckland. Setting is stunning. Live music. Surrounded by a vineyard with sheep and an old tractor down the back which my kids like to explore. Artisan restaurant is on site - beautiful food Meal or tapas and the locally produced award winning wine. If you take... More

Features fresh high quality produce and food that we have come to expect of farmers markets, but in a really pretty setting with great vibe, especially on a nice day. Great coffee, good parking, lovely live music and Artisan Wines open on site as well

it was great! make sure you write out directions or have a tomtom though - we got a bit lost! there is a lovely tart stall, make sure you get in quick as they sell out very fast. I had a blueberry tart.. delicious! good coffee as well. I also recommend the roses stall - I got a huge bunch... More
