Spent a lovely evening sailing the harbour, wish we had longer sailing time though. Enjoyed the fish dinner but would have liked my meal a little hotter but still very enjoyable. Good choice of wines to purchase. Staff excellent, very friendly. A great way to spend an evening.

After 24 hours of flying from the US, I knew I'd be too tired to function for the evening, but I did not want to waste my limited time in Auckland, either. This was the perfect solution. Tons of fresh air, pleasant young crew, and 12 of us from 8 nations all heading for the harbor bridge while looking for... More

The Harbour Dinner Cruise on the Explore was my final activity in NZ. Although I had to have my arm twisted by my travel agent to book this, it really was a lovely dinner and cruise. It has been years since I have been sailing and this was an excellent place to go again. The Kiwis take their sailing very... More

We went on the dinner cruise last night, and had a great time. The cruise left at 6pm so you got the best of both worlds seeing the harbor in the daytime, coming back to the city and seeing all the lights. The food was excellent (provided from SnapDragon) and the crew were very accommodating. Even though Auckland had a... More

This was one of the stand-out activities of our NZ trip. Around three hours sail around the harbour, under the bridge, watching some of the races in progress, hearing interesting anecdotes about various boats that we saw - and we felt we were in good hands, with a very professional and experienced captain and first mate (also very laid-back and... 2.5 hour dinner cruise included 1.5 hours sitting at the berth having dinner before we even left. Other people's meal were stuffed up completely, it was worse than Faulty Towers. The 1 hour sail on the harbour was good but not worth 1/4 the amount we paid. Complaints were ignored. If you are considering this tour, try something else.

Centrally located at the waterfront / viaduct area. Evening we went out was the first rain during three weeks in New Zealand. However, the Captain and mate kept us in good spirits and humour throughout and broke out the rain gear so we could stay above deck. view around the waterfront is spectacular. Food was very good and is catered... More

There isnt cheap tours in australia and new zealand! Good food, excelent staff, great views, i think the lunch cruise is better then the dinner cruise, is so difficult to take photos at night in a boat... They teach you to drive a boat!
