We caught the ferry around lunchtime on Sunday afternoon frorm Auckland and arrived to a what looked like a bustling country town.The information centre were very helpful providing us with a map and ideas on things to do. Devonport is just 12 minutes from Auckland on the ferry and it's a lot more laid back. You also get wonderful views of Auckland and the surrounding area from here as well as lovely little independent shops and cafes. More
