We took our 2 young children recently to snow planet while on holidays in Auckland. Only a 20 minute drive from the city which was great. We paid for a family of 4 pass for tubing for an hour plus boot hire which cost around $130. We went on the weekend and the queue was quite long and it took... More

Hi Kate Thank you for the review and glad to hear you had a good time. We have been very busy this winter and apologise that some of the queues have been long. To help with this we have just launched online purchasing and will launch a new app shortly to assist buying online. Regards Tony CEO More

Located 20 minutes drive from Auckland. Paid for the family snow tubing, a bit expansive and the hill is not steep and slippery enough. So, we spent most of the time pushing rather than actually tubing. We took the private snowboarding lesson for 3 of us plus equipment and passes. It was worth it. Good preparation for us before heading... More

My son and I have been visiting Snowplanet for sometime now, he was keen to learn how to snowboard. Stupidly, we jumped in and bought some season passes which was a big mistake. Our visits have been plagued with their broken equipment (ski lifts etc) and 1/3 of the slope has been closed for private trainings during at least our... More

Hi ChristopherD Wow, that's a pretty poor review for us. We would be happy to discuss any problems with your Snowboard as it is very rare that they get damaged here (we do not have a record of you bringing any damage to the attention of my team), it is much safer than on the mountain. I have 2 sons... More

It's a good place to take kids or adults to getting started on ski and snowboard - otherwise if you are a first timer, you will waste your time going to the mountain and not being able to really enjoy it as you will be very limited of where you can go.

Snowplanet is a fantastic place to go when you or your family are learning to ski or snowboard or you're building your snow fitness up for the ski fields. The weather is guaranteed to be fine and the snow is always good quality!

I wasn't impressed with the gear, bindings kept coming loose, changed board once but same thing turns out they issued the wrong size bindings to boots! Weren't interested in problem at all, bring your own gear to avoid dealing with the gear department. Front desk service great, except don't try and get refund for card as they make it a... More

Snow planet is great for beginners to learn without the hassle of dealing with bad weather on the mountain, as well as a good place to practice skills before going to the slopes . They do some very reasonable deals on lessons and gear hire, and we have found all the staff extremely friendly and helpful I love the cafe... More

We've 3 kids aged 3-7 and did the family pass with 'tubes' (look it up!). Great well run facility. Snow wierdly powdery but not complaining. Restaurant serves ski-like fare at astonishingly reasonable prices. We're thinking of getting an annual pass now...

I have been to snow planet there were lots of big snow hills. The snow was icy cold. There were lots of people there. There were lots of shops. There were lots of children giggling. People were skiing on the cold snow. The lifts we had to get up were fun.The donuts were spinning fast. The hills were so high that I could not go down.

Hi Leanne Sorry to hear you didn't think it was good value. Snow tubing for an adult and a child is a total of $53 so I guess you hired some other gear and clothing etc. Our goal is for everyone to have an awesome time, so sorry we couldn't fulfill that for you. Tony CEO More
