We were really looking forward to a trip to snow planet but then realised it was going to cost us $400 for a family of 4 for 2hrs (for equipment and clothes) and no ways we were going to pay that! Better off waiting to go to the real snow! It wouldn't be quite as much if you had your... More

Booked the $99 First Timers Pack for our 5 year old and 8 year old. Instructors Ryan and Justin were friendly and fun and had our kids skiing within the hour and confident enough for two more hours on the slope alone. Food and coffee were great. Easy to get to, good booking service and check in, great hire gear.... More

We used the grabone vouchers, our daughter was the youngest in our group..age 8 and my nana aged 82. We were suprised how quick the girls picked up boarding, considering we didn't have lessons and they had never skip, first time. Nana was just as daring, she did the tubing. Perfect for her, she really enjoyed the day. When the... More

We booked our 13 & 14 year olds in for a $99 learn to snow board session. 1 hour of one on one instructor time and 1 hour to practice on the learners slope. It was a perfect introduction to the slopes and not at all weather contingent. Easy to find off the Northern motorway, well sign posted and the... More

Better than I expected. Recommended for Snowboarding as there are a few jumps, rails etc. Also a good place to learn to Ski or Snowboard. Lounge bar is excellent for viewing the slope in comfort.

Coming from Norway originally, I'm used to tons of snow and skiing is a huge part of our culture. When I was living in New Zealand, I got to experience a Southern Hemisphere Christmas. I enjoyed going to the beach and walk around in jandals and togs, but something was missing. So I decided to treat myself to a Christmas... More

This is a fantastic indoor snow centre located within 30 minutes drive North from Auckland (straight up highway 1). It has plenty of parking and is well set up for groups. We booked in for 5 lessons as a 2 person group and were lucky enough to get Justin as our instructor. He was excellent! We had the first five... More

Of the four days spend in Auckland with my son, two of them were spent here! We have been to the Queenstown slopes a couple of times but this really improved his confidence. There is also plenty of opportunity for more advance skiers to go hard. I thought the price was reasonable and the equipment was fine for my son... More
