Great way to spend the Sunday eve to do the Auckland Ghost Tour! Tony took us on a two hr walk through Auckland's darkest trails and told us in a very fascinating way about the past and the haunting. We were taken to various places with a huge history. The history of New Zealand and Auckland from the first settlers... More

My son & I thoroughly enjoyed our walk around Auckland, hearing stories of things that had happened in buildings I walk past each day. Our guide was very knowledable and informative not only on the supernatural aspects but also the history and culture of Auckland. Would absolutely recommend the walk to both visitors and locals to Auckland.

The tour idea is great and I was convinced by so many good reviews here. I booked the tour for my boyfriend's birthday and managed to organize a group of 10 people to come along. Unfortunately, we didn't get any discount, which I thought was disappointing. I was hoping that at least the tour will be a private one, but... More

Trailing through the cold, darkened back streets of Auckland guided by a dark & mysterious man dressed in black, carrying a dim lantern and an old beat up Doctor's bag who revealed to us some strange & bizarre stories about the long history of Auckland certainly beats the plain vanilla history stories that your average bus tour operator will give... HIGHLY recommend this tour. It was exactly what I was looking for. I agree, there was a great deal of crime stories but I still loved it. Hearing about the alley way with the multiple murders ... and "oh hey, that's a great steak house right there." Lol! I think my favorite aspect, was that there were all these dark... More

If you really want to know the history of Auckland, take a ghost tour where you not only are introduced to the background of the city, but are given the seedy details of another reality. The tour begins when the ghost tour guide appears out of nowhere at the Britomart. As you start walking, absorbing the bustling atmosphere of the... More

I thoroughly enjoyed this trip, it wasn't scary or wildly exaggerated but rather an insight into the layers that makes a city and its residence. Cleverly woven together, the guide documents the facts and leaves you to ponder whether justice was served or the various matters closed -( then, now and into the future). To actually walk the streets, view... More

My wife and I decided to take the ghost tour of Auckland as a fun introduction in late April 2010. Anthony our tour guide was very knowledgable about the "dark side" of Auckland, but unlike other ghost tours we have taken, this is more of a crime tour of murders and suicides than ghost stories of times past. We were... More

We loved the Ghost Tour. Tony, our guide, was friendly and knowledgable. He knows the area and its history incredibly well. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, there is a lot to be learned and a lot of fun to be had on this tour. We even learned some great local places to eats. Well worth the time and... More
