John Forrest national park is amazing. There are 2 different waterfalls, both easy walking distance from the car park. Admission is $11 per car. We saw about 12 kangaroos in the beer garden at the Tavern, some with Joeys in their pouches too!! This park is very good for spotting birds too. more

Great National park, only a few minutes from midland. Fanastic for a quite picnic or for a nice bushwalk. Even has a mountain bike track which is really easy to navigate. Only $10 entry with many things to do, great day out of the bustle and bustle of the city. Along the walk, you can walk through the old railway... more
