I had a couple of hours to spare in Perth before my flight home. I originally planned to visit King's Park but the parking was impossible. A quick search of TripAdvisor and a look at the GPS lead me here. You would think it was a little out of the ways, but it was less than 15 min drive from... More

Located in Bull Creek in an out-of-the-way location it is a true surprise. Great variety of aircraft that shaped Aus and WA. Includes a Lancaster and a swag of others greats.

As far as museums go we are not really blessed in Perth, so our visit to the Aviation Heritage Museum was a nice surprise with a range of interesting things to see at a reasonable price. Alongside the aircraft there is a lot of history to explore including the development and demise of passenger airlines in Australia, WRAAFs, the development... More

Reading from the brochures that I got from a resturant(U&I), I chanced upon the aviation heritage museum. As we still have some time, I decided to bring my 3 year son there. I have been to the aviation museum in Washington,USA and this museum pales in comparison. However we did take some nice photos of the planes in the museum... More

I visited this muesum with my cousins and I really enjoyed it. The set out was amazing and the man behind the till told us a lot of information before we even got in which was good! This muesum is incredible and shows you old models and even aircrafts that were used in the world war 2! Also a volunteer... More

I've been a volunteer at this museum for the last 6 years, it's a great and interesting place, with the best bunch of people to work with! Best aviation museum in W.A!

This museum is a must if visiting in perth. I went with the whole family including 3 young daughters whom I was sure would be bored after 5 minutes. To the contrary they quite enjoyed the museum. The incredible displays mixed with the great stories of aviation were riveting. The catalina and Lancaster displays were breathtaking. Thanks to all the... More

Even if you are not a aircraft person, you will be amazed at the Aviation Heritage Museum! I am just used to flying on aircraft and never thought about how they came to the modern aircraft we fly on now! But you will realise just how they have evolved over the decades to the incredible point they are now. From... More
