Been 5 or 6 times now for everything from a romantic date to a family bash to a night out with the lads. Is all good with such a great range of movies. We bring our own low slung chairs and picnic hamper and get there round 6pm to make sure we get a good spot. Bring those drink spikes... More

This was a great experience, take some wine, snacks and blankets and watch a movie under the stars! You can also rent bean chairs for 9 dollars. If you bring picnic chairs you'll be asked to sit fourths back so everyone can still see. There's a stand to buy snacks but welcome to bring your own.

Great family friendly venue. Parking a little bit of a nightmare, and no real food available to purchase. BIG TIP: It gets quite damp, cold & dark while you are watching the movie - REGARDLESS of the temp/ weather conditions when you start! When packing your picnic, pack a water proof blanket for under you, and another blanket & cardigan... More

Like the previous reviewer I went to see The Imitation Game and the experience was wonderful. I live near here and had never tried it before this in Perth (although have tried Darwin's Deckchair and Sydney's Movies on The Opera House Steps) so booked a Gold Grass seat which means you are right in the middle and on a bean... We watched the Immitation Game and tge picture and sound were as you would get in any good cinema. Excellent experience watching a movie outdoors. Nice atmosphere with people with picnics. Hire a beanbag for $9 they're very comfortable.

I think every visitor to WA needs to experience an outdoor cinema at least once. Pack yourself a picnic, and don't forget pillows or something to prop your head up (or the film will be strenuous to watch)...you can also rent bean bag chairs, and enjoy! Few places on earth have such great weather to be able to host something... More

Really enjoyed seeing 12 years a slave here. Was nice and loud and good screen. Remember to take some food and drink, get there early to eat before film starts. We went in march, so did get a bit chilly when got dark, so take a jumper or blanket, we hired the bean bags which are very comfy. It's gets... More

Bring a mat and something to sit on. Bring some food and drinks. Bring some insect spray. Bring a jumper in case it gets a bit chilly later on. Do all that and you’ll have a great time. Love it. Cinema in the park under the stars. Its my favourite outdoor cinema in Perth.

The entire experience was a disaster. Firstly, the movie did not start on time, and was almost 20 minutes late. I think due consideration needs to be shown to the fact that with the number of people attending these screenings, getting out of King's Park is not an easy affair, which makes for a very late night when you have... Kings park is such a beautiful location & the moonlight cinema is great. Recommend getting a bean bag if you don't have your own, so comfy to watch the film from. Liked that we could take our own snacks & drinks. Great program of films, will be back again!
