After being told by numerous people that Northbridge is "the" place to eat when heading to Perth, I have to say that we thought it was extremely over-rated and there is nothing attractive about this area at all. Avoid it at all costs. more

Northbridge after dark is a very dangerous place. Loads of wild drunk individuals looking for a fight, drugs, sex or all 3. Not a safe place for young girls at all. I would not allow my teenage daughter anywhere near the place even with a large group. Fights start all the time and people are frightened so don't help or... more

As a long term resident of West Australia (16 Years) I feel compelled to warn potential visitors to the City of Perth about the much falsely promoted Northbridge. If you visit Northbridge on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night you will be well advised to come in numbers and bring protection of some type (handguns are illegal here but tazers... more

I live in Perth, and as far as nightlife goes this is the place to be. You can walk all around Northbridge (girls just be wary at night alone) and hit every pub you want without ever having to jump in a cab. It's just across the train lines from the city too. So if your hotel is in the... more
