The Western Australia in Perth is not to be missed. The information on aboriginal history is sobering. The displays of indigenous animals is fascinating. A highlight of our time in Perth. The staff are knowledgble and helpful. more

There’s a great exhibition devoted to the Batavia (mutiny/shipwreck/murder/revenge – all on one ship), and a new room detailing the HMS Sydney, its final battle and the recent discovery of the wreck. more

I came to this museum while killling a bit of time in Perth and found it very intersting. I'd just watched rabbit proof fence and it was quite moving to see how the communities had suffered with the whole forced removal of kids from thier families. I thought it was a very well put together museum. more
