The tour guide is also good, but the gold pouring part of the tour is quite short and I was actually... More

I learned a lot on this tour of the Perth mint about gold. The gold pouring demonstration was particularly interesting.

The Mint is a very visit for a couple of hours. The museum's interactive exhibits and videos are very well done and professional. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. The gold pouring exhibit is interesting. At the end of the tour you do get the opportunity to create your own gold coin for an additional fee. We created a... More

Wow all that gold! And those beautiful diamonds and other gems. We visited The Perth Mint and we were impressed with the tour. Must admit watching the gold being poured was my highlight. Getting coins engraved to remind us of our visit was a novelty but worth it.

if you are a coin collector or just interested in the history of money then this is a must visit attraction. Overlooking the machines is an experience along with the gold exhibition and watching the melting / pouring of a bullion. All round a worthwhile way of spending a couple of hours, not to mention the fantastic old building housing... More

This is one of the 5 places I definitely will bring my visiting friends and families to go, the entrance fee are not expensive, and it is worth every penny. Plenty of parkings around the building, street parking, if you go on a sunday then free parking. Theres a sushi restaurant in front of Perth Mint for a quick lunch... More

A very interesting visit, especially the tour of the Mint and the demonstration. If you're feeling flush there are some lovely items of jewellery for sale, not to mention the gold and silver bars!

$25 for a 'tour' which consisted of a 10 minute talk outside followed by a five minute video and then a 10 minute gold pour. Thank goodness I had an entertainment voucher 2 for 1. You don't get to see anything actually being minted.
