Lovely views, but the actual walkway is quite short. If you plan a hike through the park, plan to do it from the usual place on the ground. Great place to snap a picture though!

From the visitor / information center at kings park, you will need to walk about 20 - 25 mins before you reach the path of the walkway. The walkway is well maintained, and from a few points you get a good view of the swan river and the brewery.

I'm not sure what I expected but this wasn't it! It's a great walk, fabulous views but overall the rest of the parks more interesting than the bridge. That said I'd go back and the parks a fabulous place to picnic.

Neat little walk that is really well laid out. Each section replicates a different part of WA. A short walk anyone can manage.

The Federation Walkway is one of the many treasures of Kings Park. Set on the outside edge of the Kings Park escarpment, it offers great views of Perth, whilst being in a natural setting. It meanders through the Australian bush settings created by the Kings Park gardening staff. Lots of pockets of interest also are detailed with information about the... More

A great view, but it did make me a little vertiginous! I had to keep away from the edge, as it's quite high above the ground, even higher above the views, and the bridge not being flat underfoot made the sensation even more challenging. A beautiful spot though. Note: the path to the walkway looks suitable to cycle, but there... More
