I felt privileged to share in Greg's enthusiasm and passion for his culture and heritage. Providing a positive, respectful recount of the indigenous culture, early recollections of European interaction and highlighting ways in which the land and food sources where managed prove that today's environmental management and sustainability are not so revolutionary. Worth every minute!

Thank you Greg for the really eyeopening tour of Kings Park. You made the tour an enjoyable experience. I quite liked learning about local Aboriginal bush remidies and the story telling at the end was brilliant. This has fuel my curiosity, i will be reading more about the balga bush for sure.

This tour gives a good insight into the Aboriginal groups who lived and live around Perth. As well as some history, we learned about the plants used by the groups and how they could be used for survival. We were shown some artefacts that Aboriginal peoples used and had a short Dreamtime story telling. Greg is an animated and talented... More

Greg Nannup does a wonderful job of introducing visitors to Western Australian indigenous culture. This 3 hour tour included walks, bush tucker discussion, a dreamtime story, early settlement and the impact on local indigenous communities. My wife just loved it .... and rated this tour in her top 10. There are 2 tours daily at 1.30 pm and 3.30 pm... More

My visiting family's request was "I want to learn more about indigenous culture" yet despite being in Perth for over a year and a relative culture vulture its still really hard to find anything that meets that request. This tour was recommended to me by the tourist centre and really I can't thank them enough for recommending it. Our guide... More

Went on this tour today and it was amazing. So interesting and learnt so much! I would like to thoroughly recommend this to anyone who us interested in culture, and the ancient methods of bush medicine and basic survival skills of finding bush tucker and water?

We attended with a large group. Greg has the most melodical voice, he is knowledgable and imparts information in an interesting meaningful way. It was a wet morning but still very enjoyable to see kings park under a veil of light rain. I left feeling culturally enlightened, relaxed and peaceful.

I had received word from several individuals that Greg takes you on the best tour in Perth, and they were right! He is a great story teller and educator that draws fascinating parallels between the prominant indigenous lands in the Perth area and the way these same parcels are utilized today. I learned an incredible amout of information regarding the... More

Meeting Greg Nannup and having him as my guide was a true privilege and highlight of my visit to Perth. Sadly I was the only participant on this particular walk, which I felt was due to the walk being under promoted by Kings Park Management. Nevertheless Greg was professional, articulate, open and encouraging of the questions I had. It was... More

My husband and I did this great tour with Greg Nannup as our guide. It is a leisurely walk stopping under the shade of trees to listen as Greg shared with us his history and his love of Australia. He has extensive knowledge of the Flora and Fauna, and demonstrates uses throughout the tour from medicine and food to shelter.... More
