the cenotaph is set among the landscape of beautiful Perth skyline and the expanse of the Swan River. It is a place to reflect on the horrors of war but also to honour all those who gave their lives for others.

A visit to Kings Park would not be complete without a visit to this stunning war memorial. The eternal flame draws you in. As it changes with the breeze you cannot help but stand in 'silent contemplation'. The beautiful park with stunning views over the Perth CBD and river is the perfect location for this tribute. A great place to... More

Stunning work has gone into this. The best memorial I have ever seen. Neat, clean and mesmerising. A lovely tranquil place to reflect.

Visited here during a recent trip to see friends in Perth. A beatifully maintained memorial and eternal flame in a spectacular location which must have the most stunning view available over Perth and the Swan river. A fitting and moving tribute to those fell and well woth a visit.

I love war memorials, and the opportunity to remember our servicemen and women. This memorial is close to the main visitor centre and overlooks a view down to the river. On your way out by car, drive around the park and see the many trees planted as avenues of honour along the side of the road. The tress planted all... More

This is a lovely park with some amazing walks and abundant native trees The memorial has a simplicity that is about the contemplation of why it is there in the first place. I loved the fact that you could gently stroll around (wheel chair very friendly) and there in its midst overlooking Perth city and the Swan river was a... More

This is a place one MUST visit when in Perth. Kings Park is arguably the best located park in Australia, and the War Memorial a worth focal point.

Stunning memorial set in a beautiful park. The park is on a hilltop looking down onto the swan river. Perfect setting for remembering.
