The War Memorial is a respectful monument in the tranquil setting over looking the city and beautiful river.

Beside the beautiful views, beside the love and respect that the lovely architecture reflects the memorial has the added interest of a whispering seat. Children and adults are fascinated to sit on the semi circular seat and whisper to one another from one end to the other. This is site that can be enjoyed by every level and age group.

So touching. We were there around Armistice Day and it brings to you the sacrifices of all the young men who left Australia to fight in a foreign country for a country that most had never seen. The Memorial is a place of quiet personal reflection,I served in N.Ireland,Falklands and several other places and my thoughts went out to all those... More

Whenever I visit King's Park (which is, every time I go to Perth), I invariably visit the war memorial. It's not a very large structure, but neither is it puny. Very well kept and always makes the visit to King's park that much more meaningful. There's a platform that overlooks the city, right there next to the memorial.

Various wild species of trees and grasses particular in Australia are planted in this wide botanic garden. Especially, baobab trees in the Northern territory and desert flowers in South Australia are very interesting. Landscapes of Perth city and Swan river from lookouts in this park are very excellent and impressive. Many peoples take a walk and running from early morning... More

Very well done, beautifully laid out and still very accessible. If you have parents/grandparents or ancestors who fought in those silly wars, well worth a visit and some quiet contemplations. An added bonus is the whispering wall - go at sunset/sunrise and hopefully be the only ones there to experience a really moving moment.

it was on my holiday. I visit it on winter. I love the weather and I love the scenery. You can see Swan Bells from the hill of the park. A very large park, you can walk with relax. It's clean and green. So many plants and it's beautiful. I hope that I can go visit this park again.

Any time of Day Kings Park would have to be one of the most beautiful parks in Australia, I can't come to Perth and not spend at least 30 minutes just sitting and looing out over the Swan River or walking through the gardens with all of the Western Australian wildlife flowers. It just make me feel good.

Kings Park war memorial is lovely. The whole park is a must see. So many different areas to explore. Great view of the city. Beautiful wildlife, gardens, everything. This park provides such variety and beauty. I go as often as I can. It's worth a look in every season.
