this memorial is really something special. Well worth a visit - even at night which is when we went. The reflection of the flame in the pool around it is amazing. The city lights as a back drop to the memorial itself is just beautiful.

The excellent location in the park facing the Swan River. When one wanders around and see the many names of those brave men who fought for the freedoms we have today and to see so many who gave their lives up for us, how could one not be moved.

The Memorial is located at the top of the park. With friends, we hiked up the park to the tip where we located the memorial. An eternal flame burns for those who have fallen. On my visit the tablet of the names were protected by a metal gate, probably to prevent damage by the public. However it was not an... More

Whether you agree or disagree with war this is a very good place to go and pay respect to those who have served and sacrificed for our country. The main memorial is for the first world war but there are sections for all other conflicts. The other outstanding feature of the location is that it affords the best views of... More

Not only is the actual Memorial a very important part of our history, it is also a lovely spot to reflect. It is interesting looking at the names and seeing if any ancestors are listed, especially for the children. The Flame and "Whispering Wall" are also interesting for the children. The spectacular outlook that this memorial affords is a not... More

This is an absolute must whilst in Perth. The beautifully maintained war memorial overlooks the city offering outstanding views. At night it is brilliant. Spend some time here - the memorial is first class and highly recomended.

This is one of our favourite places in Perth. The views are amazing, the native flora is on show for all to enjoy and it's a wonderful place for a family picnic and to pay homage to the men and women of the armed forces. We visit at least once a year, often around Anzac Day to lay flowers.

This memorial is perched on the highest point overlooking the city of Perth. It is a memorable place to visit, especially at the dawn service on Anzac Day. It is set in the stunning Kings Park, a must for every visitor when in Perth
