We sat and ate at a fantastic Asian Restaurant and listened to the Western Australian Symphony Orchestra. What luck! Symphony in the City 2012, it was so good.

This was a free concert in the park in the City just near the Hotel. It was a lovely evening and very enjoyable.

For a State that has a relatively small population, Western Australia can be extra proud of its fabulous orchestra. Each time we attend a performance I feel uplifted and delighted at the high standard and enthusiasm shown by all.

Considering Perth is always dubbed a cultures capital due to it's isolation, classical music lovers can always find harmony at anyone of the WASO concerts, generally held in the Perth Concert Hall. Particularly of interest is the free "Symphony in the City" concerts held each December

I would be so keen to know who is responsible for the superb detail to the Orchestras music and excellent running of the shows. Bravo!!

This orchestra never fails to amaze me. The produce great work and are never afraid to try that something a little different. You will find them all over the state. Their outside concerts are the best. They even have freebies!

If you're visiting Perth, and have an interest in orchestral music, it's worth attending a WASO performance- they're a versatile and accomplished orchestra.

We were privileged to attend the presentation by The WA Youth Orchestra at The Perth Concert Hall. The young members were so talented and it bodes well for the music of WA in the future.
