A world class orchestra, which never fails to provide a good diversity of music with impeccable performance standards. Pre-concert activities on offer are exceptional.

If you have a chance to see our WASO, dont miss out. They are world class. Christmas time normally sees them putting on a great Carols evening. This is family friendly and an absolute delight.

Saw this lot at the free concert in Albany during the ANZAC celebrations. What a treat to hear the Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams and to have them accompany Kate Noonan and others and not have to pay the. Or ally extortionate fees to hear a great orchestra.

WASO is outstanding in the talent of their members, diversity of programs, and character of conductors. Never miss a chance to hear them play; it's quite uplifting, and removes one from the humdrum troubles of the day, which i quite needed. Last year's subscription was money well spent; they make it easy to book, dine, park, and attend every performance.... More

The ambience. It was a night of great food, wonderful company and fantastic music. A cultural explosion of local talent. It was so good you wished you lived in Perth until you remembered that you actually do.

Although I sang with the WASO chorus and WASO a couple of times, and have attended several events in the audience I am not a credentialed music critic. Though, I have a couple of comments. In Perth my best classical and 'fusion' musical experiences in have been at WASO events. Let it be said I love the music and enjoyed... More

A great way of passing a few hours immersed in great music. Check their website for programme ... be warned that booking is, generally, required due to the WASO popularity.

My early fathers day present was a visit with family to hear Beethoven played and sung with much gusto and passion as we were led through the 8th and the brilliant 9th symphony. I had not seen the principal conductor, Asher Fisch, leading the WASO before, but give the man his due, he knows his Beethoven and wrung out an... More
