As a different way to travel and learn about the area while with my sister we chose to travel from Perth to Fremantle on the first cruise at 9.45 then go on the Hop on Hop off Tram in Fremantle during the day then return to Perth on the Cruise in the afternoon this made for a very interesting way... Went on the afternoon scenic cruise with wine tasting. Scenery was lovely but you couldn't here the commentary very well due to the other passengers. The wine tasting was a few bottles of wine dumped on a table which you helped yourself too. All in all, an average trip but a good way to see the Perth coast line. More

We took the cruise from Fremantle to Perth and enjoyed every minute. They did a great job of pointing out all of the sites and other details along the way. Plus there was a wine tasting along the way, which never hurts! The ride was comfortable and the crew was very friendly. More

Take the 945 ferry from barrack street jetty along the beautiful swan river to Fremantle. Take the team tour with lunch at cicerellos. There is still time to visit the fremantle prison tour or shop at the famous markets on the weekends and have a beer a the microbrewery. Cruise back along to swan river to Perth city with wine... Our hens group had originally booked to go on the cruise including an after dinner D.J. Four days prior to the cruise we were informed that this tour only had couples on it apart from our group and were offered another tour and told we could "have a dance" on the way home. We accepted the second tour only to... More

We took the lunch cruise that leaves approx 1:00 and travels east on the Swan River to a winery in the Hunter Valley area. We had a serviceable buffet on the way to the winery. Got to taste 8 wines at a local winery with Desert on the way back. During the trip the captain gave some notes about the... More

We booked a table of 7 (adults aged 26-58) for my mum's birthday and had a brilliant time! We chose the half day Swan Valley tour and although I wouldn't rave about the wine, and certainly didn't buy any to take home, it was plentiful on the way up the river and fairly reasonablly priced on the way back. Lunch... More

If you only have one day in Perth, this would be the best way to view Perth, surrouning suburbs and Fremantle. Good commentary along the way, we stayed in Fremantle for a couple of hours then returned in cool air conditioned comfort. Great Day out! More

We took 3 different tours with Captain Cook, when staying recently in Perth. The daytime cruises were in someways better as you could see the scenery. The evening cruise, although we loved it, and it was peaceful and romantic, we just felt we missed out on seeing where we were going. The staff were good, and helpful on all the... More

This was a lovely river trip to Freemantle, a town not to be missed. We booked a Triple Tour trip, but the pricing was difficult to understand, although it included team tours in Perth and Freemantle. A wine tasting was supposed to be included on the way back, but I went to try the tiny glass, about half way back... More
