The tour really could have been done in town. Its just a talk, a ride on a boat to a few "planted" oysters to demonstrate a few techniques (the real farm is further up the coast), then a trip to the shop. Still, the colours made the trip enjoyable, particularly as we did the 70 dollar helicopter ride (which you... More

We drove ourselves to Willie Creek after booking a tour while at Broome. The presenter did a terrific job. She made her talk both informative and amusing. We had a short boat trip around the creek area which is very scenic. I would have liked to leave with a nice string of pearls but ........

On a recent trip to Broome with my two best friends, Willie Creek Pearl Farm was recommended as a great place to visit. And it's true. I wasn't sure what to expect from a tour of a pearl farm. If anything I thought it would just be looking around at where they're farmed & a bit of a look in... More

Very fun and interesting place to visit, very cool to see how pearls are farmed and the hard work that goes into it. 10/10

I joined a tour to Wilie Creek Pearl Farm. Our driver was very good and gave an interesting commentary on the way there. We were met by Esther who gave an outstanding presentation on the anatomy of the pearl oyster ("pinctada maxima?? sic?/) using a live oyster to show all the parts of the oyster. Esther is a born teacher... More

We very much enjoyed the interesting & informative commentary . Loved the beautiful coloured creek water. Got to model the pearls worth $40k. What a buzz. Lovely barramundi lunch Very enjoyable tour.

We drove out to the Pearl Farm as we still had a 4WD hire car. It was an easy 40 min drive - the last few km on unsealed roads. The morning started with a fascinating 'lesson' all about pearl farming and oyster anatomy! Sonia was brilliant as our teacher. Very amusing as well as highly knowledgable. After a tea... More

On disembarking in Broome from our Kimberley cruise, this was offered as an option and we are so glad we took this tour. We were picked up from our cruise ship and driven to the pearl farm. There we were met by Emma who was both informative and entertaining. The process of pearling was explained in detail. The damper morning... More

We did a self drive tour of Willie Creek Pearl Farm. This was my second visit, the last one being about 10 years ago. A very professionally organised tour of how pearls are grown. Esther, our guide, and Dave the boat skipper, impressed us with their knowledge of the industry and the environment. We were all issued with name tags on... More

Our driver, Lance, was consistently entertaining but more importantly, made each passenger feel welcome and important. He greeted each of us personally and asked where we were from. The presentation on the pearl industry was given by Emma, who did a great job of giving information in an entertaining way. The boat ride was really enjoyable - there are 3... More
