The most beautiful beach. Lovely to walk for ages and enjoy the beautiful blue vista. Fantastic for photo opportunities, especially at sunset. Will return.

This is without any doubt in my mind one of the best beaches in the world. It reminds of the pink sands beach at Harbour Island in the Bahamas. I was here in late Nov this year, and swam in the sea every day. It was like getting into a warm bath. The beach is very deep at low tide,... More

Lots of interesting beach life, and lovely tropical warm water (which is a novelty for a southerner!)

had heard all about cable beach but after talking to some locals I decided not to swim. With stingers and crocodiles it had me a bit worried. The beach is good that people are still allowed to drive on it and it is walking distance from most resorts. Worth a drink at the cable beach sunset bar.

I wasn't sure if I was walking on a beach or a highway! At least on the camels you escape the cars for a while, but I like my beaches where people actually walk to the water and enjoy some peace and quiet, not rev heads trying to run you over. I know that there are parts of the beach... More

Cable Beach is just that. A beach. You cant go swimming (due to crocs, sharks and box jellyfish), the water is not clear and at high tide there is no beach...

Oh my goodness, what a gorgeous beach. It was a shame we didnt ended up swimming in it. It was so tempting. But because it was the start of stinger season we thought perhaps not, even though the locals we asked said that they still swim there, but there is a level of risk you take. The sunset was lovely,... More

The sunset witnessed here is amazing, Bring a picnic, a few beers or a bottle of wine and chill out while watching the sun go down.

Beautiful beach if you just want to lie around or take a walk, but as a surfing beach, not much chop. No regular sets, just got pumbled left right and centre.. Not a pleasant swimming beach

Beautiful, white sand, black rock and crystal blue water. Perfect place to go for a walk and leave the days troubles behind.
