We walked along Cable Beach every morning whilst in Broome, from the Surf Club towrds Gantheume Point. The beach has a wide expanse of golden sand, with the bluest Indian Ocean. We also watched a few sunsets with colours just like a postcard. Will definitely be back to Broome

Totally overrated. I went down to the beach for a swim that only lasted 30 seconds before a large boulder smashed into my leg causing some pretty nasty cuts. After I got out I noticed lots of rocks rolling around and a poor older lady was knocked off her feet due to the impact

There is no better place to be than on Cable Beach to watch the amazing sunsets. The sun just seemed bigger and redder than any where else

Had several stints On beach using hired lounges and umbrellas. Not crowded at all and so relaxing just looking at and swimming in the water. Sunset a real highlight.

very nice and long beach. The biggest attraction here is the watching the sunset and the camel ride.

Riding camels on this beautiful beach under the hot sun was one of the best experiences. The beach goes on forever and the waters are pristine.

Cable beach is beautiful, however we went at sunset, and there are tonnes of folks around, as expected, of course. 4WDs and camel rides also littered the popular beach spot. I am sure there are nice peaceful stretches up north that less people know of. Will make the attempt to find those spots the next time we visit.

A must visit, a really lovely clean beach. We took a Camel Ride along at sunset and the beach just keeps going and going and going! The sand is lovely sand that's soft and fluffy and the water is a beautiful blue. Just what you would expect in a remote part of Australia. Cars can drive along the beach and... More

Staying at Cable beach caravan park at the moment. We have cycled around the area and love the beach, the amazing restaurants to view the sunsets. The people are all so friendly and happy to be here. Any wonder its paradise.
