Absolutely amazing view and plenty of places to stay. A few places to eat without having to go into Broome. You could stay here without hiring a car and not really have to go anywhere unless you wanted to.

What a perfect place to escape the heat of a Broome wet season - the magnificent Club Restaurant on the boardwalk. Coffee and cake is just $8 and the service is wonderful.

Beautiful long sandy beach. The ocean was so warm. They said to watch out for stingers but we didn't see any although didn't go in that far.

We were here in what is officially the off season (Feb) which meant no camels unfortunately, however this also meant the beach was nearly empty and the long stretch of beautiful white sand was a must see.

Visited two days in a row. Was nice just to wander about then have coffee in Zanders. Second day went for the sunset, saw the camels on the beach and paddled in the warm water. Yes it's a beach like anywhere else in Australia, it gets graded twice a day for free, and yes look out for vehicles.

They keep the crocs away from the water but few seem to swim. Most just sit on the golden sand and commune with the sea side setting marvelling at the impact of the tides.

I came to Broome reading about the famous beach. Dream came true, Wonderful long stretch of miles of sand. We rode camels on the beach, took leisure walks and swam in warm water of Indian Ocean. Not many choices to enjoy place closest to the city of Broome, and Cable Beach is the one. Bring your picnic stuff, enjoy your food and drink and wait the sun goes to the bed. Also you can enjoy the ride with camel if you wish. For me, much better sit, drink and relax.
