I am long time resident who went away for two and a half years and has recently returned to Broome. For me, it was that darn beach that I couldn't get out of mind. Just being able to go down and be the first human to put a footprint in the sand that morning, is just the best. We also... more

Huge tide difference. No vendors coming around to sell you stuff. No restaurants right on the beach though there are some at the top of dunes. No jet skiing or parasailing rentals. But what they do have is lounge chairs and boogie boards for rental, great surf, soft sand, surfboarders, local intense Australian swimclub competitions which make for great entertainment,... more

WoW! what an amazing beach!!! 27K's of perfect white, broad and perfect delight! just avoid the 200meters tourist trap including camel rides on the beach..the other 26.8KM is just heaven!! the long trip to Broome is definately worth it!! more
