When the tide is low enough you can see some interesting wrecks. Historic stuff.

One of the best place to view this was from the Mangrove Resorts restaurant which was absolutely fab!

Amazing views on the lowest tides where the ocean heads out to the horizon. There are not too many places to view this from and parking is at a premium in the tourist season.

What a spectacular place, the tides are unbelievable which leave the bay empty. Went on a hover craft ride to the dinosaur prints and then had drinks and horderves on a table in the middle of the bay at low tide. Must do

almost missed the drive out to the port. Had a midday flight so thought we'd kill and hour by driving out. Wish we could have spent more time out here. Could have walked out along the peir into the bay and the rocky outcrops and the colour of the water is outstanding. Will spend more time out there next time... More

We visited here as we travelled around Broome on a day pass on the town bus. A peaceful place, but wouldn't call it spectacular. Interesting kids water playground here.

We needed one night accomodation before heading south. Called to see if there were any self contained units and advised there was any onsite caravan with annexe available. Busy time in Broome so we took it. Quite and old van but clean and the lady at reception provide us with excellent service.

Roebuck Bay is a gorgeous blue. Can see for miles. When tide is out goes out a very long way. Nice & relaxing all along the bay. We rode our bikes to Town Beach nice ride.

Roebuck Bay is Broome's best beach. This is the spot to see stairwy to the moon, and on the designated night a market takes place to add to the atmosphere. The Roebuck Bay caravan park fronts direcly onto the beach.Easily Broome's nicest park. O.K. it's a litle old but all amenities are clean ,sites are spacious and the staff are friendly

We stayed at the Mercure just near Roebuck and walked around this area often during our stay. The mangroves are amazing in the area with pleasant park lands nearby. The colour of the water in the bay is an incredible turquoise and the tides are quite high - amzing to see the difference in the appearance of the area between... More
