I took a flight with King Leopold Air on my first day in Broome to see the horizontal waterfalls, it was amazing and the best thing I did on my week stay. Such beautiful sights, friendly and informative pilot Nick made for a great flight, especially since I had never been in such a small plane. Highly recommend doing this.

Colour sight beauty We had the perfect day to see this part of the Kimberley region. The flight gave us a great sense of space and colour. The boat ride showed the power of the tides and the tranquility of Cyclone Creek A great experience you should seriously consider when your travelling through Broome.

Everything was top notch for this adventure, from the bookings to the briefing to the flight to the waterfall adventure to the barramundi lunch. Wonderful service from great young people. Yes it was expensive but I'm glad we did it.

Great day up in the air with Nico. We couldn't have ordered the weather better. Morning tea at Mitchell Plateau, fly over Mitchell Falls twice in both clockwise & anti-clockwise direction, then onto the magnificant Horizontial Falls, flying at a very comfortable altitude around the falls twice in both directions. Continueing across the Buccaneer Archipelago, landing for lunch at Cape... More

We did the full day Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventure. What a great day! From our early pickup at 5.45am, to our drop off back at our hotel around 4.30pm, the day was faultless. The activities were extremely professional, the staff were welcoming, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable and more importantly, all seemed to really love their jobs and promoted the environment... We saw the falls from a light aircraft and did several circuits as part of a larger day trip by air. Kimberley Air's pilot, Ralph did a magnificent job and we got some stunning photos.

Our morning began with a 50 minute seaplane flight over the Dampier Peninsula & King Sound to Talbot Bay where we landed and transferred to an houseboat to enjoy a quick tea or coffee before taking off on a jet boat ride through the surrounding creaks & bays. While waiting for the tide change we enjoyed a breakfast of bacon... More

We actually were on a Kimberley Cruise and were blown away by the Horizontal Falls as well as the entire Kimberly region. The cruise was 10 days and each day was brilliant. Such a beautiful remote part of Australia. Would love to do it all over again...we actually did the cruise April/May 2013 and all the waterfalls were flowing after... More
