Coming into this city on the highway, upon entry my van was bombarded by Millions of Dragonfly's. As beautiful as it was to see these amazing flying objects smashing into our window, maybe a over population problem. I would rather that than Mosquitoes! Great Centre!

Friendly, helpful staff. Even helped out with where to find things like the local Telstra shop. Nice and chatty without being gushy.

The staff were very helpful in advising us about tours and availability. It was unfortunate that two out of the four tours that we booked were cancelled one due to the weather and the other due to lack of numbers. When we revisited the staff not only recognised us but were very helpful in refunding and re-booking another tour. Their... More

The Visitor Centre always has visitors roaming around the displays or having a cuppa in the cafe. I found two books to give to my family about Broome. There are maps galore and I found a book which had many areas of WA, including the Gibb River Rd.

The services are good, however, they treated me very differently to my partner (who is white) and tried to refuse me using the bathroom as local aborigine had used the facilities in the past and made a mess, My white partner was able to use the bathroom without question. Racist?

Hi kathimacc, I am very concerned to read about your experience at the Broome Visitor Centre, it certainly does not reflect the culture of the organisation. I will undertake a full investigation in to this and, if necessary, improve staff training, I would be grateful if you could help me improve my understanding of the incident and our service by... A good place to gather information about what to see and do while you are in Broome. They can suggest alternatives if tours are not available. Booking service available. There is information on the Kimberley region if you travelling. They also have a good range of books and souvenirs.
