We had brunch there which included the usual eggs and pancakes. The service was good. It was a little warm outside as the breeze was intermittent. The view of Roebuck Bay and the boats was excellent.

we stayed in the front row of the caravan park, which allowed us an excellent view of the immense tidal variance, plus the constant interesting things happening on the beach.

Beach was ok but the cafe was not open in the middle of the day. Pioneer Cemetery is worth a quick look but Cable Beach has much better facilities and swimming.

We rose at 5am for the half our walk from Town beach at low tide to see the wrecks of sea planes shot at by the Japanese in WW2. There are only a few times a month you can see them during the early morning and it was worth the effort. Sunrise over Roebuck Bay was lovely, when we walked... More

Catching the bus there is easy. Nice cafe to eat or drink at. Great view. Tip, go earlier in the morning before lunchtime.

It was a lovely warm and sunny day when we visited Town Beach but we felt intimidated by the drunk and foul mouthed locals who were hanging around the park and the bottle shop. We had to wait for a bus to take us back into the centre of Broome and had to endure obscene shouting whilst we waited for... More

The Broome Town Beach must be recently upgraded as almost everything seems to be quite new. The kids' playground incorporates a water-park which keeps kids happy and cool for hours - we saw something similar (on a grander scale) in Townsville Qld. On our daytime visits, the café was closed (shame), possibly because the last 'staircase to the moon' event... More

A small beach that is very tidal, nice and shallow for the young ones. There is also a playground for the young ones (us adults too) and its like a mini water park, water comes shooting and spilling from all directions, great fun!! Nice restaurant there too.

We visited Town Beach and enjoyed the calm waters. There is a lovely park with a playground and small water park for the kids. A great spot for families. The views are amazing.
