The best part of Gantheaume Point is that at the right time of month and during the right tide, you can actually see dinosaur footprints!! While they are not easy to spot, if you are diligent enough it is definitely possible to find them.... making it an amazing experience for any paleontologist wanna be.

It's a great place to walk from back to Cable Beach as the 1st bus of the day goes down that way to drop you off.

One of the more interesting places of Broome. Yes, those dino foot prints are hard to find. And it is hot, even at 7 am, and no, there is no well paved road. But those aspects also make this very interesting. There is no (regular) guide pointing out the foot prints. When there are more people you might hope somebody... More

Load up the car for the day and head to this spot for the day. You can see the dinosaur footprints and simply marvel at the colours of this amazing spot. After you have finished exploring you can drive onto the beach and have a swim in this lovely beach. Just love this spot away from the business of Cable... More

Dinosaur footprints were a cool way to look at the history of the place and interest people of all ages. A bit hard to find at first and kind of a let down as they are worn away slightly, but that is to be expected.

It is sad Anastasia's pool was damaged in a storm but Gantheaume Point is still a worthwhile place to visit. The red rocks and dirt against the beautiful blue water is always stunning.

This is a must see spot if you're in Broome. The red dirt, the turquoise water, the amazing rock faces, you really have to see it to believe it.
