So Beautiful

This place is just so beautiful, peaceful. You just don't want to leave. Take a book or picnic some music and just relax. The deep crystal blue water is a must see.

There was an information centre there but it was closed the day we went. the Point has stunning views over the ocean and the red earth of WA was very prominent there.

We stopped here for breakfast as part of our flight over the Horizontal falls....wow, what a breakfast we had, and what a wonderful place to stop, the little island and the colours of our land were awesome, the staff were really helpful, would love to go back again one day..

Whilst more into geographical landscapes than into history the Point has some extremely interesting red rock formations that make for some good photos. The point looks out over the clear waters to cable beach

If you want to see the dinosaur footprints consult a tide table they are only visible at very low tides. We didn't manage to get the right tide but it is still worth going to the point, the rock formations and colours are amazing. A bonus was seeing a pair of Osprey sitting on their nest high up on the... More

Beautiful part of Broome, I personally couldn't see the evidence of footprints, but others could, so a personal opinion.

If you are in Broome it is worthwhile to go here as it is very close and you get impressed by the footprint. Try to imagine how these huge animals once lived in this area. Of course you forget for a moment that the foitprints are casts and that the real ones can be seen out on the seafood. If... More

Near the bottom western point of Broome after passing the race course you travel along a 500m stretch of dirt road arriving at the gravel pathway that takes you past the light house arriving at the rugged & picturesque coast line with its stunning colourful jagged rocky coastline & aqua water. There is also a great view of Cable beach.... More

There is a footpath trough the dunes to the cliffs, and the concrete casts of prints there. We did not see a pointer to 'the real thing' , and we understood that climbing down the cliffs it dangerous. Besides, they are said only to be visible at extreme low tide, and when is that?

Visited twice during our visit - first time just climbing over the rocks and taking in the wonderful formations, the second time taken by a local who showed us where Anastasia's Pool actually was. Worth a visit if you are into coastlines and swirling seas. Quite enjoyable.
