This rugged, beautiful rocky outcrop showcased the wind and water rocks. Plenty of places to sit and take it all in.

The dinosaur footprints are only visible a few days a month at the very lowest tides in the lunar cycle. It's an interesting prehistoric-looking formation at 'normal' low tides. There's definitely a Jurassic vibe going on in these fossilized mudflats. However you won't see any footprints unless it's the lowest tide in the lunar cycle. If you are keen on... More

I was keen to see the dinosaur footprints at Gantheaume Point but had difficulty in locating the actual point. They could do with a sign next to the Racing Club confirming the point is further along the red dirt road. Once there it was pretty obvious that the footprints were at the end of the walkway but still no sign,... More

A beautiful spot to walk where the dinosaurs walked. Also a special place to be during sunset. Take your chair, a bottle of wine and some treats and enjoy the colour of the landscape and the magnificent sunset.

My all time favorite place in Broome. Best to go in the late afternoon (after 4:30) as the red colours become more and more intense as the sun drops. Don't be afraid to scramble on the rocks on either side (obviously taking care of drops) to see some amazing shapes God has made.

Want to escape the madness of Cable Beach and see Broome like a local. Drive your car right down onto the beach and park up. Enjoy the atmosphere, kick back with a beer and watch the sunset. Wander up to the light house and see the cliff faces - the contrast of the turquoise water against the red rocks -... More

You don't need a 4WD to drive onto this beach. When the tide is out there's plenty of room for everyone and his dog. Some go kite surfing, some play with their mechanical toys. But most get out their chairs and Esky and have a cold one facing the sea. And watching the sun set, big and orange. At this... More

Lovely and interesting area but impossible for a disabled traveller to access seeing more than just the car park. The gravel path just not suitable for everyone.

If you want to climb down to view the footprints you must go early morning with the low tides. Also, I would recommend wearing sneakers/proper footwear as the climb is quite steep & slippery...though there were people in flip flops. Aside from that, my husband loves science and he though it was fantastic! To note, I've been before and the... More
