Amazing ancient place

This place in the early morning is just beautiful. Nature at its best. Amazing colours of the earth on show. One gets the sense of how special the Kimberley is.

Join the crowds and head down before sunset. Drive your car on the beach. Take your picnic set up out and enjoy watching the sunset whilst having a bevie or two. Great atmosphere and gorgeous beach. Worth a visit at least once whilst in Broome.

There are so many different rock formations here; so I took lots of photos. There were other keen photographers like me who had set up their tripods around different areas of the rocks. At high tide you can jump off the rocks into the sea which is lots of fun. At low tide you have fun trying to locate the... More

We visited at high and low tide and both times were totally different experiences. But,, a rugged beauty whatever time of day. The dino prints were fascinating but a bit of a hard climb to and from especially for an older person. Wear sneakers not thongs, 2 people slipped in front of us mainly due to poor footwear. The sunshine... More

Amazing to think that dinosaurs once walked around here. Worth taking some time to walk around and view the changes in rock formation/colour. And the contrast of the red soil and the blue sea is something to see.

i love this beach , there is so much to do . Depending on the tides you can go in search of dinosaur footprints, snorkel in the rockpools or just go for a walk. my son loves to Kite surf so this is a great place to do this. Also a nice place to sit and watch the sunset with... More

This was hazardous but rewarding, several people slipped and hurt themselves climbing down and along the rocks to see the dinosaur footprints. Once you were down it was ok , you just have to wear good walking shoes and make sure you visit at the right time ( very low tide)

Walking on these red rocks on the edge of the ocean you feel like your on another planet! They're billions of years old, dinosaur footprints are embedded on them, what gets better than that?
