Saw the Dinosaur footprints - wow ! The colors were magnificent - for a photographer this is a great location. The red of the land. the rocks and the ocean present many great photo opportunities.

Broome is a location I visit many times a year, this time I was able to locate the dinosaur footprints. A remarkable attraction when you are able to locate them - best to take a tour on this one, it took me eight attempts. The view here is second to none, looking across the ocean to the white sandy beach... More

Be aware that you won't see any footprints unless the tide is under 1.7 meters. The views at this point are beautiful and are worth visiting anyway

The contrast between the red rock and the absolutely pristine blue waters was awesome. The view was amazing, so worth going out into the hot sun and up the dirt road, (which we did in a sedan) it's a bit bumpy, but if you take it easy you should be fine. I wouldn't recommend if its wet though.

Loved the cultural information and the display. The dinosaur footprints are very difficult to find as was the swimming hole. Beautiful destination but a long walk back to Cable Beach when it is hot.

You need a vehicle to get there, preferably a 4WD as the last part of the road is unmade. We were there at high tide so we were unable to see the dinosaur footprint but it is worth going out to see the coastline.

Gantheaume Point is a very natural and undisturbed part of the north western Australian coastline. The dinosaur footprints were very hard to locate (with no signs indicating where to look) - we never found them. We later took the hovercraft trip (which was excellent) and we saw lots of varied footprints.

We were pleasantly surprised by this extraordinary spot in WA. Beautiful rock formations for the children to explore and us to photograph. Pack a bottle of wine and some nibblies and watch one of the most beautiful sunsets in Australia. Searching for dinosaur footprints at low tide is challenging but fun and yes there really are there. Do yourself a... More

This rugged, beautiful rocky outcrop showcased the wind and water rocks. Plenty of places to sit and take it all in.

The dinosaur footprints are only visible a few days a month at the very lowest tides in the lunar cycle. It's an interesting prehistoric-looking formation at 'normal' low tides. There's definitely a Jurassic vibe going on in these fossilized mudflats. However you won't see any footprints unless it's the lowest tide in the lunar cycle. If you are keen on... More
