With over 29 years experience trekking, training, and working with these amazing and often misunderstood aniamls. Alison's camels are Broome's most loved camels! We offer the choice of a half-hour Pre-sunset ride strolling along beautiful Cable Beach overlooking the turquise waters of the Indian Ocean, or the one hour Sunset ride while enjoying the spectacular Kimberley Sunset. I spent nearly two weeks photographing camels at sunset and paying attention to the three companies on the beach. They all go the same route for the sunset ride, so it's not like there's any difference in time or route between the companies. I chose Broome Camel Safaris (the camels in blue) because I'd read about Alison Bird and her... More

Right from when we got to the "Blue" camels we were made very welcome. The whole team were very informative and helpful. They were more than willing to take photos with our camera and we got some fantastic shots (thanks Kim!). The camels were handled with professionalism and care and we got some great information about our camel along the... More

We (4 of us) booked a tour with Broome Camel Safaris in early May. There are three companies who offer the same service but BCS was $10 per person cheaper, and the girls got a pair of pearl earrings (freshwater so I guess that they are imported which isn’t a great way to support the local industry but they are... The whole family had an amazing time on the sunset tour. The camels are friendly, and the staff knowledgeable and happy to answer any question we had. I would recommended the blue camels to anyone and any age. Thank you Alison will see you again next time we come to beautiful Broome More

I've always said I would write a review on trip advisor and never got round to it. I was very much inspired to however after being with Alison Bird and her lovely camels! Alison clearly adores her camels and her team are friendly and enthusiastic. The staff went out of their way to take many photos with our own cameras... More

Alison Bird and her staff obviously love their camels, and this shows through in the way the camels behave and obey every command without hesitation. What a treat to ride a camel on cable beach at sunset! Truly an experience to remember forever. Alisons staff are wonderful, they took our cameras, and took photos all the way along the beach... Had a wonderful time on our sunset travel safari. The camels were amazing and you sat much higher up than had been expected. Sitting on a camel as the sun set on Cable beach Broome was an interesting experience and one should try to experience. More

If you are looking for fun and relaxation, then don't miss a camel safari ride along Cable Beach at sunset. The camels are beautifully groomed and presented and the staff friendly and professional. Sunset at Cable Beach is truely magnificent. What a great way to end a day. Rewarding the camel with a carrot was treat for both animal and... More

I am surprised this Camel Tour hasn't had any reviews as its been around a long time and was the one our hotel recommended. There are three Camel Tours in Broome, this one (Blue saddle blankets), Red Sun (Red blankets) and Ships of the Desert (black and gold). All seem to have similar numbers of camels and run their tours... More
