Camel ride a highlight

The late afternoon camel ride, seeing the sunset over the ocean, is an activity which stays with you long after you leave Broome.

You can't go to Broome without having a ride on the camels. Good fun and really nice young staff operating the rides. Great photography as well especially with the sunset creating shadows in the sand so don't forget your camera. We did the half day tour of Broome ending up at Cable Beach with the camel ride.

Had fun with our family of 5 on the mud camels. Definitely appreciated the friendliness and expertise of the staff. Try the blue camels not dusty, well kept and mannered animals.

I loved my Camel ride on Cable Beach as I had done a camel trek across the Great Victoria Desert in 1988, and this was wonderful to re-connect with these wonderful animals.

The sunset ride was brilliant. Couldn't have asked for a better team of attendants and camels. Umm, taking photos on the move was a challenge!

A great experience and one not to be missed at Cable Beach. The camels are well behaved, better than our kids. A very soporific way to enjoy the beach and the arrival of sunset.

This was an enjoyable experience, the camels were clean and well behaved, the guide was friendly and walking along Cable Beach at Sunset was the best experience one could have even at 69 years young.

It was my last day at Broome, so I only had a 40 minutes trip. It's a nice way to feel "bedouin" and camels are nice fellows.

I took the ships of the dessert camel ride last Oct and found it so much better than the one I took the year before with another company. You guys went further down the beach and it just seemed to be a more relaxed ride, I will be in broome again this year about the same time and look forward... More

I sent my three grandchildren and youngest son for the sunset ride December 22. The kids came back with no other subject to talk about - my Camel was better than yours - my camel was faster than yours etc It has been the highlight of their holiday. Kids had the first two camels so were very spoilt.
