Good place to relax and off course fishing

Had a good time fishing with some Balinese Australian boys. Good place to relax and enjoy the afternoon while fishing.

We visited here a couple of times and walked along the beach to the rocks and back after fish and chips. It was very peaceful with no one else around. Great surrounding views and looking back toward Broome.

We were there in July and the water was a bit cold for good fishing but we did catch a few. Watch the local Aboriginals as they know the spots to fish and what to use for bait or jigs. Better fishing in the warmer months.

Interesting local attraction and good food at the cafe. Great views over the turqoise waters. Watched two tugs bring a large container vessel into port which was interesting.

We were disappointed that we could not walk on the Jetty, where people used to go fishing, due to security reasons.

Either for catching r eating this is the Fish capital of Broome. Wonderful fish meals barramundi prawns scallops maron and WA lobster and the best fish curry ever. Great chips. Plenty of fish to catch too when the high tide comes in.

Very busy wharf with Oil drilling pipes being exchanged so no public access. walked down under instead and along the beach to right as its low tide. Food available but pretty expensive.

Well worth a visit as the food is fantastic and service very good. We were there as the tide was going out - what a sight! The tidal range in Broome cannot be adequately described in words but suffice to say we have not seen anything like it.

A great walk out along the wharf and you get the chance to see lots of anglers fishing out some pretty good size fish. We saw one guy dragging a giant trevelley up the wharf. Estimated it to be about 40kgs and he had caught it with a hand line and 3 people helping him. Big effort and a good... More
