We walked the length of the jetty, chatted to the fisher people and admired the Giant Trevally and Snapper they had caught. Of course we should have been there the other day / last time / last week etc when a great fish was taken. We explored the beach below the jetty when the tide was out and recovered fishing... More

We photographed beneath the Wharf and on the shore around it. The variety of rocks was fascinating. Worth going out for that.

Nice for a walk and to fish off. When the tide is out a rocky reef is revealed and allows for some interesting search pools

There's really nothing to see - or wasn't when we drove down there. Just a wharf, fuel storage etc. I don't know if there is good fishing there - or if you are allowed to fish off the wharf - guess you could check it out.

Being the only four people there at lunch, the service was shockingly bad. The food took over 50 mins to be served, the oysters were 6 for $30 and the fish n chips were well over priced. Even the new waitress said she had just started and couldn't believe the prices. No wonder they had no customers. I don't recommend... More

From fish around the wharf to sea turtles to stingrays, to sea snakes in the water to gulls, hawks and osprey flying around. What a wonderful show of nature here and it costs nothing. Then be entertained by locals and visitors with their stories

A beautiful spot for fish and chips .... But a bit pricy? Walking out on the wharf is an experience. The beach at the base of the jetty is beautiful but no one was swimming. Why??? Perhaps all the warning sings not to swim there may answer the question!

Easy access to The Entrance at the port with a boat ramp and heaps of trailer parking. The wharf has a pedestrian path along part way of one side which gives good access to deeper water at high tide. There is a cafe at the start of the wharf if you need a break from catching fish or crabs.

We ate here twice, both times for lunch, You do need a car to get here. The staff and service were both excellent. The grilled calamari was thick and tender, wow! Seafood excellent. Not a huge place, but they do serve the same meals as take away if necessary. Very impressed.

A nice little eating spot and a view to be pleased with. Walk out along the walkway and look down into the turquoise water full of life, you never know what you will see.
