What an incredible view of the city! We are locals and loved it. There's a lot of interesting Melbourne trivia around the deck to compliment the vista. You can pay extra to go out in The Edge, which is a glass bottomed box, but we didn't bother, you get the idea without having to spend to more.

Always thought this would scare me as I have a fear of heights but once you get to the 88th floor and start looking around and realise that you are in a safe area no problems. The views are spectacular and we could see for a fair distance. Got some great pictures. Want to go and see it at night... More

Visited Melbourne during our month visit to New Zealand and Australia. It was during the daytime when we visited the Eureka Skydeck, but the views were just as spectacular. We also visited Alice Springs and also went out to the Great Barrier Reef from Port Douglas. Had a wonderful holiday in Australia.

Go at a time when you can see day view as well as sunset & then is time permits - night view. The glass cabin experience is ok - not too great.

Completed in 2006. We walked around the observation deck, which is the highest in the southern hemisphere, before heading out into The Edge, a glass case that moves out to hang out over the side of the building. We had an issue with our buzzer (to tell us it was time to enter The Edge) - we were told that... More

Once you have been up a few towers this is much the same. If you haven't had a chance to soak in fantastic views of Melbourne then this is a must do.
