St Kilda, always worth a tram ride out. Beware make sure you are paying on the trams as they are cracking down, instant on the spot 100 dollar fine if you havnt swiped your card. Very busy, but as always Melbourne had entirely clean streets even with huge numbers of people.

St. Kilda beach is easy to get to from the CBD on the train, tram or driving if you need a relaxng arvo. If you're feeling crowded and overwhelmed by the bustling streets of Melbourne, head out on about a 30 minute journey to St. Kilda beach and relax. On the hotter days in Melbourne, St. Kilda beach livens up... More

My friend and I went to there yesterday. We saw a lot of gorgeous views like beach, ships, seabirds and pier. A lot of people with their families went there strolling along the beach, and some people went there to fish. Some cafes are nearby, and visitors sat there and chatted with each other. How comfortable it is. Unfortunately, yesterday was a cloudy day, and... More

The nice part about the front at St Kilda and the shops behind, is the lack of pomp, it is friendly unassuming and great fun, a bit like Melbournians you can wander for hours with your camera and enjoy the site and smells ( all good)

Amazing array of cake shops in Acland Street, St Kilda. Take care because quite a few don't take cards of any sort.

One frantic Saturday afternoon on Swantston Street where I caught Tram #16 to St Kilda beach, the sun was sizzling hot. The picturesque bayside beach was a mecca of friendly strollers, picnickers, amateurish fishing people, beachgoers, and some garish swimmers giving the beach a lively flavour of delight. With only the sunset as my goal to go to St Kilda... More

St Kilda beach is in a great location in St Kilda, with a short stroll to the main part of St Kilda. The beach is often chilly, so it is great for recovery training. I have stayed in St Kilda a few times for sports tours, and enjoy using the beach for different training activities.

The beach at St Kilda is lovely. The Esplanade is a great walk / run and the Sunday market nice to have a wander around. There are plenty of cafes for coffee and ice cream

Clean and very family friendly. Lots of people enjoying the beach, throwing balls and playing with their dogs. Calm water and great for everyone. Car parking is a nightmare though. Council lining their pockets by charging to park anywhere nearby. Spoils the whole experience a little
