Even though it's not the best beach overall, it's a nice place to spend a sunny day with your family. It got enough parking nearby filled with different types of restaurants. If you want to go for an outing, this is a nice place just away from CBD.

Well if you are like me and travel around with a skateboard obsessed son or daughter, you will no doubt be familiar with every skatepark of every city you visit. I know its a hassle trying to look up places to skate so I'm going to make the job easier for anyone travelling to Melbourne: The best skatepark is Riverside... More

We spent a couple of hours on a Sunday wandering around the markets, beach and pier. Very easy to get to via the trams from the centre of town.

I love the Sunday craft market at St Kilda where u find stalls selling a wide range of products by local artisans such as souvenirs, clothes, paintings and more. The beach is beautiful and breathtaking. If you are there, take a short walk or tram ride to Acland Street, where you can find many cafés and shops selling a wide... More

For most Australians a bit of a joke, a nice place for a walk but not much of a beach and the main drag is a bit of a dive. Even when I lived here I only came here a few times, certainly wouldnt travel for this beach!

St Kilda is a nice beach. It has ice cream and snacks on the beach front. It has a reasonably long sandy beach. Charming place to go for a walk. Good for scooters and bikes. On sundays there is a charming arts and crafts market just over the other side of the road.

It's a great place to get out and walk around the beach. Lots of fun and a very good walk . it's different to other beach and not may people were swimming, may be due to cold water in winter. Nice set of local stalls up on the road side on Sunday was also a great time pass.

This beach is in a beautiful area of St. Kilda, but it gets pretty crowded any time it's nice out. So if you're just looking for a quick place to take a break and read a book it's okay, but if you're looking for more of a relaxing peaceful escape, you're better off at another beach.
