The Jam Factory precinct provides a nice blend of Cuisine, Village Cinemas and Target Shopping, something out of the way in Chapel Street. Worth the Visit.

Managed to get this photo whilst the movie was going. Don't know was more entertaining, The Revenant or the mice having fun with popcorn. Disgusting. I first saw a mouse climbing up the curtain beside our seat, so we moved to the front of the cinema only to find 2 more more nice having a wonderful time feeding off popcorn... More

Change is on the way here once again in the inner suburb of South Yarra. The old brick "Jam Factory" buildings have seen plenty of change since the 19th century. First the site was used for brewing, then the making of fruit preserves and jams. In 1979 the buildings became a shopping centre. In the mid 1990s there was an... More

Not a bad place to go to the movies. Enough food outlets to please everyone, nicely air conditioned on a hot day, parking out the back and easy public transport, interesting architecture. All in all, a good night out.

Actually the food court is a great place to enjoy free wi fi and relax. Tuesday has $2 Taco's and just a nice place to relax. I have always felt the ground floor a bit to 'open' and lost some glamour. It needs a nice little bar or something. I agree the renovations make it fell a bit under done,... More

The Jam Factory is awesome because its got a number of different food counters to choose from, has Topshop connected to it and Village Cinemas. Great location and easily accessible by tram or train!

I hadn't been to the Jam Factory in years! It is so much nicer then it used to be. The only reason we ever went was for the cinemas but now I'd say it's a pretty good place to hangout, grab some food and get some new clothes. Obviously still not quite a full shopping centre but it does the... More

Summary: Positives - easy to get to on public transport, safe, clean, great movie cinema complex, off street parking available Negatives - small variety of cafes and restaurants, small amount of shops, lots of space, but nothing much to draw customers in other than the cinema complex Detailed: I go to the Jam Factory a minimum of once a week....
