I have only been on the tour once, but thoroughly enjoyed it! Great place to visit especially if you're a fan of AFL.

If you love AFL this is one of the things I would be suggesting to do. Tours start at 11, 1 & 3 I think everyday besides some slight changes on event days. Tour goes for about an hour where you get to experience corporate boxes, $7000 stadium seats, the coaches box, the broadcast room, the radio and and commentators... More

Etihad ( formerly known as Docklands) is a medium sized stadium in Melbourne that has great access from the train or tram system. Get off the train at Southern Cross, and its a quick connected walk to this stadium. We sat in the second tier , midfield of the rugby pitch. Seats at the expensive end of the range. The... More

I've been here many times for a number of events, Unfortunately this is used for music concerts (i've seen from EMINEM to ACDC here). The sound is horrible, avoid it if possible. For sport its great, easy to navigate and helpful staff. BEWARE - Drinks and food are at eye gouging prices. $6.20 for a bottle of water!! I've also... More

I watched the St. Kilda v GWS game - there were 19,000 people there and they policed the lower levels even though many seats were empty. for a visitor from interstate the stadium is impossible to even see from ground level coming in from the city side. Parking a car was $30 alone - highway robbery! They didn't close the... More

Stopped here as part of the Melbourne Sports Tour. Ate lunch in the café overlooking the grounds, and it was a great view. Food was delicious and great sizes. Would happily stop by again if just for the food, but would love to experience a sports game here, the venue is great.

Hello, I had the chance to visit this stadium and watch an Australian football match between kangaroos (local team) and Geelong cats. The stadium is great and modern, the athmosphere is also fantastic and the crowd is also respectfull. A nice experience if you visit Australia.

Just a note for others that tours now cost $15 for adults -- not free as listed here. That aside, Etihad is a great stadium.

Really enjoyed doing this the day before the Lions game. Great tour guide and it was nice to wonder around the stadium the day before the match. You get a chance to go into the changing rooms too and walk up to the pitch. During the tour you get to see how the other half live too, tv screens that... More

I did the Etihad Stadium tour last Thursday (19/9/13) and also watched the VFL and TAC Cup Grand Finals that weekend. The tour was excellent - my guide was John, who was a fantastic host and very knowledgeable about Etihad Stadium and the game itself (also a big Kangaroos fan!). No-one else turned up, so it was a quite a... More
