This really is a very good venue, but having just seen Florence and the Machine here, the acoustics were pretty crap, it simple was not loud enough. To be fair i'm not sure if this is a venue condition or the band, but something for them to watch out for... i'm middle aged, but bands should be LOUD. Florence was amazingly... More

Saw Florence and the Machine there. Easy entry, easy access to seat and facilities. Acoustics are great, atmosphere can't be beat

Easy to spend all day here as the area is peaceful and serene when there isn't a function on. It is set out well. I'd come again

This treasured Victorian icon has been the host of music and theatre performances, including ballets, operas, cinema, festivals, carols by candlelight and even ice skating. The Bowl with its tent like structure was designed to bring the music to the people of Melbourne. After walking through the lush gardens of the Kings Domain, the aerodynamic features of this bird like... More

The Myer Music Bowl is the scene for Carols by Candlelight every year. I wanted to go check it out and had seen a concert here many years ago. The seating is under cover but the lawn is in the open. On a summers day it would be lovely but on a chilly winters day not so pleasant.

This open door arena was named after the benefactor Sydney Myer who was the chairman of Myers until he died in 1956. The most popular event every year is the Carols by Candlelight and it raises much needed money for the blind.

okay for concerts, if you do not have a seat then it is hard to see the acts and if the weather is bad then it is no good, needs a few big screens around the venue. A lot of history with this venue, many famous acts have played here.

Nice structure of the building and plenty of grass for picnic, but definitely not the must-visit place for tourists.

I have been here twice, once for a festival and once for Jack Johnson. Both times the toilets where pretty gross. Other then that the lawn is big and it's a good set up.
