This was a very, enjoyable night if you are familiar with the story oft the Seekers and love their music. The cast was great I loved this performance but I love the music of the Seekers.

Lovely Theatre & atmosphere. Yes the seating is more cramped than other venues, but it's hardly worth complaining about. We would like to give HMT staff a huge shout out for their excellent customer service. My Mum uses a walking frame, and as soon as we arrived, a staff member greeted us & showed us to our seats. She asked... More

Fond memories of a more simple time. It tells the story of an iconic band who are part of the Australian character. The show goes for over two hours and is jammed pack with stories, great music and entertainment. The cast is well selected and delivers a strong performance. Go and catch it

Well I never expected that:) The Seekers was one of my dad's favourite groups seen originally in Bournemouth back in the 60's and even he admitted to having a 'big crush' on Judy D:) so it seemed appropriate as a Thank U to my new Aussie family who I've been staying with in Melbourne (Judy D home town) to take... This week I went to see Georgy Girl at Her Majesty's Theatre and just had to say what a fabulous theatre this is! I have been to many shows here over the years and I have loads of great memories - Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Mary Poppins just to mention a few. The seating, visibility and acoustics are excellent.... More

This is a lovely old theatre with two aisles to access seats. The seats are quite close together, so patrons must rise to allow others to pass. Staff are most helpful to people with mobility aids, and matinees tend to have many older patrons. Sight lines are good as the seats are slightly offset. There is an usher bringing ice-creams... A fantastic experience to relive the music and the life and times of the Seekers. Lots of hidden gems woven into the story and well worth the visit.

A fun, nostalgic musical of the seekers journey including other songs of the era. Outstanding singing especially Judith Durham, terrific fashions and a storyline that flowed. A great night. Not to be missed if you are an Aussie of that generation

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration over a century ago. In restaurant after restaurant on Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving up age-old recipes. The lighting may be unromantic, the patrons loud, and the service no-nonsense, but the food is sensational.
