Stunning theatre, the lobby was incredibly beautiful and old fashioned. The play we saw was not bad but the theatre is worth going to have a look.

We went to Her Majesty's Theatre to watch Les Miserables. The production, the sets and the acting was wonderful. The theatre unfortunately is not designed to hold a musical. It's good for orchestras and performances where the visual of the stage is not necessary, but not for theatre and musicals. When we booked online, there was no 3D view of... More

What a venue to see a live theatre production. The atmoshere of the packed house for Les Miserables was something to be experienced. Sitting in the third front row (Row C) of the first balcony gave us a wonderful view of all that was happening on stage.

Have seen 13 productions of Les Miserables and unfortunately rate this the 13th. Whilst beautifully staged with great visuals, it didn't have the raw power of other stagings. Three of our party have seen it many times before and agreed whilst two Les Mis virgins enjoyed it without being blown away - and Les Mis should blow one away! There... More

We shouldn't still be saying such things - after all, Gough and Paul were supposed to cure us of the cultural cringe - but Les Miserable at Melbourne's Her Majesty's Theatre, is as good as any production, anywhere in the world! We have become accustomed in theatre to expect the lead to carry a show but Les Mis demands so... More

I am so glad I decided to see this musical. Le Mis is one of must see performances. I was at the back row but I can feel the intense emotions from the actors. If you haven't got many theatre from where you come from, you definitely don't want to miss this musical. Tips: there is rush tickets $45 that... More

Les miserables was excellent, very professional and talented cast. Could easily have been held in a larger theatre and probably would've been even more spectacular there. To focus a bit on the location I'm still suprised with this theatre sometimes having been here quite a few times. I think Ticketek often get it a bit wrong with their classes of... More

Had the pleasure of attending Les Miserables at her Majestys Theatre while we were visiting Melbourne. Having read the book, been to 2 live performance and seen poor old Russell struggling with the high notes at the movies, the story, music etc were familiar, however we were taken by the excellence of the performance and the quality of this production.... It's time for Les Miserables now. We booked it about 3 days ago. So many people there and enjoyed very much. This theater just located in China Town. You can enjoy the delicious food after the show ot before it.
