Its near a tran station but I forgot what it was. It is a huge place. Loved seeing the big trees and flowers in bloom. Also, the green house was great, it houses tropical plants. the herb garden needs maintenance.

Wonderful place to visit and escape the city for a time. Easy and quick to get to from the city. Just walk over Princes Bridge and you are there!

The gardens are fabulous. I went in quite a cold month, but the sun was beating down and turned it into springtime. It is really pleasant to be able to escape the city so easily, though the traffic nearby does break that illusion somewhat. The variety of flora on display is sensational and there are cute little cafes interspersed throughout.

The gardens is must for any visitors to Melbourne. Melbourne is known as the garden state and the Royal Botanic Gardens exemplify that fact. Great for picnics or just to stroll around.

The gardens are located close to the city adjacent to the MCG and Tennis courts. The Botanic Gardens are a haven of peace set around a lake. The restaurant in the centre is a lovely place for lunch. It even has a resident harpist - wonderful!

The best part it that there are no admission fees and if you pack yourself a picnic basket you can spend an enjoyable day out relaxing in the lawns of this beautiful expansion of garden:)

Love my Sunday morning walk through the gardens, so much to see and so relaxing, they are just beautiful and full of history. You could spend hours just walking around looking and relaxing for a coffee and a cafe. Great place for couples, families, anyone really. Beautiful for photos as well.
