What a beautiful place to visit. Around every corner awaits a new experience. We spent many hours walking through the gardens, the gardeners and staff are to be congratulated. We will return!

Good venue right at the entrance and food always looks tempting laid out in the glass display. Coffee us good but I think it us just a couple of dollars more expensive than comparable places. Perhaps the rent is high for the venue.

The gardens offered the chance to escape the concrete jungle. A really nice walk with bits of historical importance along the way. I even spotted a wedding. Great when the sunshine is out. The cafe was very busy so I didn't stay but the food looked nice.

The royal botanical gardens, have been a live of mine since I was a little girl, the gardens are well maintained and such a wonderful place to just relax and watch the day go by. Great for picnics, weddings, or just that beautiful surrounds for that selfie photo.

is this what it's like to eat at Melbourne Girl's Grammar School? Feels a bit like that, but you can buy wine to go with your sandwich. Lovely setting, but it would be much more lovely if they cleared away after meals and stopped the birds from invading.

You can see parrots, swans and other wildlife. The gardens themselves are pretty great, make sure you stop by the Herb Garden, with all the... More

Perhaps a little pretentiously, Victoria declared itself some years ago to be "The Garden State" of Australia. But this claim is not without merit and the Royal Botanical Gardens of Melbourne does, indeed, provide a focus to the magnificent gardens of Melbourne particularly and other parts of Victoria generally. The gardens offer the visitor a range of options - diverse... More
