A lovely way to spend an afternoon walking the many paths and exploring the gardens and parklands. Great venue either for a family gathering, a romantic walk or to simply sit with a coffee and enjoy the serenity.

We spent an afternoon wandering around the gardens. There is so much to see and lots of quiet places to relax and enjoy in peace. It is big so wear comfy shoes but it is a nice break from the busy city.

It is big and beautiful. I felt happy and relax strolling in this place. Following the suggesting from the travel guide, we brought our sandwich to go there for a picnic in the morning. Gosh, it is a lovely place!

The food is expensive for what you get. Still, it supports the gardens, I imagine. The ice cream selection is good though. Good for hot days in Melbourne!

Definitely a place to visit while in Melbourne! This place is beautiful and spacious, it's a great place to relax or just explore. It's big, but not big enough to get lost, which is nice when you're visiting for the first time.

Great place in the city to walk around and view plants, flowers, ducks, swans, and other birds. And it is free!

A beautiful place for a leisurely stroll or picnic. Amazing, world-class gardens with something for everyone. It's a real 'time-out' place where you can reconnect with nature without leaving the city. I've been there many a time and can never get bored with it. Child friendly with play gardens which allow the parents to relax a little too!

These gardens are such a lovely blessing in the city. Acres of beautifully landscaped gardens with water ponds & lakes, birds and flowers. Perfect to take a break in - leave the hustle and bustle of the city - come here, spend an hour or two to recharge your energies. There are tea rooms and an observatory house in the... More
