I know it was school holidays, but way too many people for what the venue could handle. My daughter is in a wheelchair and we spent at least 1 hour waiting for the lifts with all the prams. Walkways too narrow and dark, people and kids getting lost, not knowing which way to go. We could not wait to get... More

Located right on the banks of the Yarra, this venue was welcoming from the minute of our arrival! It is laid out in a number of mini-zones, each with a different theme. This was great for us, with a number of small children, because it meant that there were continually differing things for the kids to look at and keep... More

My husband and l took our three grandchildren for a visit to the Melbourne Aquarium on a school holiday outing…We parked at Crown Casino just up the road, at a cost of $34, for just two and a half hours. When entering the Aquarium we noticed the entrance fees, Adults $20, Children $15, Single family $ 66, families $ 96….... More

The Aquarium is sensational, been open a long time and have considered visiting many times, we shouldn't have waited so long. We all (family of 3) agree that the whole place was great, especially the penguins, you could watch them all day, the only downside was the food in the cafe, dry, over done and only a reduced menu.

this was just ok, wouldn't rave about it, it does have some good things like the sharks, sting rays, crocodile and penguins. Kids got board quick and we were over it after 10 mins. If you have never been to an aquarium before you would probably really enjoy it, but seen one aquarium seen them all.

Myself, My husband, My mother-in-law, and my infant son visited Sealife together. Each of us loved it. I look forward to returning regularly as my son grows...as I know none of us will tire of it. The lay-out, the information, the staff...it's all brilliant. The only reason I gave it four stars is due to the parent room. I had... More

Our toddler loved the aquarium as despite being little he could get up close to all the animals thanks to the huge glass tanks. He even touched some shellfish in the open display. Brilliant day out.

This is perhaps my third visit to the Aquarium and in most respects my opinion hasn't changed. The positives? There are a great array of fish, seahorses, jellyfish, rays, penguins, sharks, lizards and one massive saltwater crocodile to see. The sight of sharks and massive rays swimming above and around you is really fantastic. However, sadly the negatives seem to... More
