the aquarium is very expensive in my view for what it is. The collection is well set out and interesting but that's about all i can say for it, the best exhibit is the penguin enclosure we were fortunate enough to be there when the chicks were being fed but apart from that and perhaps the crocodile there isn't a... Thanks for the feedback on your visit. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed visiting Pinjarra, our croc, and the cheeky penguins; to make the most of your visit and find out more about our aquatic friends it is great to catch one of our educational talks, which are happening throughout the building. We hope to see you again! More

Unfortunately we felt unable to enjoy what could have been a relaxing and educational half-day because the crowds were overbearing. Especially with the limitations of a pram, we just walked out feeling frazzled rather than relaxed! If I could have my time (and $100) again, I would have turned the pram around when I saw the line, so consider trying... More

Thanks for your feedback. We tend to be a very popular destination on weekends and school holidays. If you are looking to avoid the crowds, it is best to visit us on a weekday, early morning or late afternoon, we are most popular in the middle of the day. We look forward to seeing you again! More

We had the opportunity to visit the Sea Life Aquarium in Melbourne and were amazed at the extensive number of exhibits on display. The variety of underwater species was astounding and very well presented. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and really made our visit that much more enjoyable. The various presentations given by staff was very informative and... More

Very worthily for all the family - as a couple of adults we were here for several hours. Expensive ticket price, unless you use your visitor / tourist discount voucher from the hotel, or from visitor guide discount book (from Federation Square tourist info office). Loads to see and very well planned / laid out.

My young family and I visited in April on our vacation. It is quite expensive to get into but having said that there are some good things to see. Definitely something worth seeing.

We went during non school holidays. It was not too crowded and the exhibits were on the whole very good. It is a quite pricey entry fee but the quality of facilities make it value for money. I think this is worth the effort.

Spent the morning with our 2 boys (4 & 6) . Have not done a aquarium visit for a couple of years, so we enjoyed our time. Not sure if we would go again unless they changed/ upgraded some exhibits.

This was a reasonable trip in my opinion. It was $38 per person. It filled in 1hour of our day. The centre is educational and had a good variety of species.

The Melbourne Aquarium gives you a good overview of Australia's ecosystem. I enjoyed my visit, but I have seen it once so I doubt I would return. Worth a trip tho.
