The place is not to big but my son (3yo) enjoy every corner especially the penguins. Suitable for young children and stroller friendly.

They take your photo at the start- which is to push you to buy a tacky book at the end, it ends in the gift shop. I just dont like the push to get more cash out of you, hard to say no to kids seeing all the toys and stuff. Interesting to see the fish, the penguins are ok,... More

Hadn't been to the Aquarium since it first opened and was impressed. You need to to able to spend time here and not rush. Loved the "tunnels" where the fish swim over you and watching the penguins being fed was the best

I've been an aqarium nerd since middleschools, and have thus visited a lot of aquariums. I really looked forward to this one, since several of my friends recommended it. Staff was friendly. As I walked around, several exhibitions were closed, and I noticed several sick fishes. They could have easily made the whole experience more exciting. Penguins and sharks were... More

I may be biased as I have been to a fair few zoo's and aquariums around the world, but I felt that this place was a bit small and kind of boring. My friend and I went through it pretty quickly but the kids and families seemed to be having a great time

Family loved this! Lots to see and do and very interactive, plenty of species and great way to learn about sea life in Australia. Thoroughly enjoyed.

I heard the aqarium was expensive and not worth it, but we had coupons from our hotel and found it to be quite enjoyable! The croc exhibit was very memorable, as well as the penguins but they just seemed so far away to really see them.

I took my granddaughter to the aquarium. The queue was huge but moved quickly. We went to very corner of the aquarium one to see the attraction and 2 to get our book embossed at each of the stations placed around the centre. We took photos in tunnels and in bubbles which were placed in the middle and under many... More

We went on the second to last day of school holidays and were thankful that we pre-booked, so that we could join the shorter pre-booked queue. Sea animals were fantastic. Kids loved it. Chose not to eat there as too busy and the food choices weren't too healthy, most things with chips. The shop was over priced average item $25-30.... More

It certainly is a popular place to be during school holidays! We are refurbishing our cafe area within the next few months and will be looking to introduce new menu items at the same time. Great to hear that you guys loved the sea animals. More

We took our 7 yr old daughter we all enjoyed the aquarium, favourite was the penguins area. Lots to see and learn. Staff were friendly and very clean. We reckon melb aquarium more interesting then sydney aquarium. Money well spent. Caught tram first time to and from which was great too.
